How I would interpret this is that Anthropic is subsidizing subscription more compared to OpenAI. Question is why would Anthropic do that?
Holy sh*t, Anthropic’s subscriptions offer so much more value, even compared to the new and efficient GPT-6.1 Sol. It’s not even close. SemiAnalysis puts Opus 5.5 at over 5x the API-equivalent value of GPT-6.1 Sol for agentic workloads at the same subscription price. It’s not even close on this measure. And on top: OpenAI just halved the usage limits on its $200 ChatGPT plan.

I haven’t touched Claude Code or Codex CLI in a while. The terminal era is over imo. It's the wrong interface for coding agents. Tabs are ephemeral, but context is persistent, and managing 30 tabs is pure cognitive overhead. I don’t really need an IDE like Cursor either. I rarely navigate the whole codebase anymore. The new primitive is the agent, not the file. (Codex desktop app is the best agentic UI for now. But we’re still early.)

the muse hype is real. i can def say that it is the easiest to use & most focused consumer ai product on the market. the extremely generous limits also make it impossible to ignore. it actually helps the avg person navigate the day to day complexity of personal life. if you go back to my april tbpn appearance, i talked about how an ai generated feed would become a baseline primitive for new ai experiences & muse has a pretty compelling version of that idea already. & you can start to imagine how powerful the multiplayer layer could become. my stack right now is claude for work & muse for life. great execution from facebook here. credit where credit is due.

Dots from OpenAI is enterprise focused. Was hoping for them to launch their own personal agent based on @steipete Openclaw

I’m slowly cleaning up the suburbs with Muse. Saw this mess of wires on a pole. Took a picture and asked Muse to contact Verizon to get them cleaned up. It went to their website and got to work. There is a 0% chance I would’ve sat in a Verizon support chat over this. I would’ve just been mildly annoyed every time I walked past it for the next five years. “Someone should do something about that” is now a prompt. 🤝 @alexandr_wang

Investors still vastly underestimate the hyperscaler data center layer ($AMZN, $MSFT, $GOOGL) as open models are taking more share. Some valuable insights from Vercel CEL @rauchg: »When we started the AI gateway, it was all OpenAI, and then a lot of it was Gemini, and then a lot of it was Anthropic. And those three have consistently been losing ground to open models.« »Open models and faster models seem to be the new trend.«
In our conversation, Vercel CEO @rauchg explains his recent statement that open models now account for 80% of Vercel’s token traffic. He says models from OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic have steadily been losing ground to open models, with openness and speed emerging as key trends.

With wider adoption and new use cases, this risk will diminish over time.

$AMZN will go through what Google did. Ohh ChatGPT(Muse) will disrupt google search(Amazon retail). Ohh this ads business is sticky because user behavior is sticky but will grow slowly. Ohh that cloud hyper scalar business is bonkers m.

It’s incredible that Siri isn’t the default for this. I still believe apple has a trick up their sleeve but I’m losing hope.
As discussed w @bgurley two yrs ago - a personal, super assistant in every American’s pocket w perfect memory & understanding of my life - my likes & dislikes - able to work non stop & achieve almost anything is now inevitable. It is a huge gift to humanity. It will 10x all of us, give us more magic experiences & save time from drudgery to spend w family & friends. Many internet aggregators (insurance, travel, shopping) will resist but resistance is futile. AI agents aggregate the world of options on the fly - the fulcrum of value delivery has forever shifted. Model capability has unlocked this moment just as it did for coding. Adapt or die. 🤖🚀@BG2Pod

It will be hard for anyone to compete with $META Muse. You either compete on the product, distribution or price. $META is really strong in all three categories: - The product reviews for Muse are 40k ratings with a 4.88 score (truly rare) telling you users love the product. - In terms of distribution, $META owns the biggest ecosystem by far. - In terms of price $META has the most spare infra capacity + enough profits from its core to subsidize if needed.

When you open X looking for sol 6/reset and get opus 5.5+ reset. Hopefully they improved the gibberish
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

If Muse doesn’t integrate OnePassword vaults by the time Anthropic and OpenAI launch their personal agents I’m switching, it’s honestly the biggest lock in issue, I’m not storing passwords in 10 places
