Good mernin and happy Saturday, you heat battered peasants, dehydrated camels and other roasted biologicals.
Saturday turns the air fryer from “rude” to “kiss my ass.” 🤣
Much of the Front Range and northeastern Colorado climbs into the upper 90s and lower 100s. A Heat Advisory is in effect along the I-25 corridor, while portions of southeast Wyoming and the Nebrasky Pandyhandle are also under Heat Advisories.
🌡️ I-25 corridor: Mostly sunny and offensively hot, with highs from roughly 97–103°. A rogue late day storm is possible, largely dependent on outflow boundaries wandering off the mountains.
🔥 Eastern plains, western Kansas and the Nebrasky Pandyhandle: Widespread triple-digit nonsense. A few communities may challenge daily records, with portions of the Panhandle approaching 105°.
⛈️ Mountains and mountain valleys: Scattered afternoon sparky booms return. Slow moving storms may produce locally heavy rain, especially over vulnerable burn scars and steep terrain.
🌬️ Southeast Wyoming and I-80: Near record heat with isolated high based storms. Rain coverage will be spotty, but sudden gusty winds or a dry-ish microburst could become the main event.
Sunday may be another degree or three hotter before monsoonal moisture starts making a more meaningful comeback early next week.
Hydrate. Find shade. Check on heat sensitive humans and animals. Do not challenge the sun to a fistfight. You will lose.

To all of my followers I say two things:
If you can identify with Rondale Moore, please know you are valuable, loved and have a purpose.
If you have someone in your life who may have withdrawn lately, send them the text, check on them, and bother them with excessive love.
Rondale, you lived well and you excelled greatly. RIP
