America’s corporate governance system is broken, and it’s killing public companies. Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating. Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground. The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves. It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors. Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence. True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over. Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market. We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.

🚨 FLORIDA’S MOST EXPENSIVE TANTRUM IS ABOUT TO MEET THE WORD “NO.” County Commissioners: “But we NEED it!” 😭 Florida taxpayers: “No, you WANT it. There’s a difference.” Fund the essentials. Prioritize the rest. Welcome to budgeting with OUR money. 😂 #Amendment3 #Florida

🚨 NEW BECERRA WHISTLEBLOWER: We were “accomplices in a human trafficking operation.” Migrant children “cried and refused to get in the vehicle” after Becerra sent them to FAKE relatives. “HHS was giving us paperwork that was not frickin’ verified.” Xavier Becerra turned HHS into the largest child trafficking operation in history. He CANNOT get away with this.

Age limits for elected office is one of the most reasonable, uncontroversial, common sense policies that has no discernible downside and would attract wide approval from both liberals and conservatives. You could even set the cap high, like age 80, and remove any possible argument against it while still solving a significant chunk of the problem. But it will never happen because the politicians themselves would have to put the policy in place. And they won't do anything that limits their ability to cling to power, even to their dying breath.
This is not acceptable. This is humiliating for the country. I don’t know what needs to be done, but we have to stop this. The senate is not hospice.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a mob of Black "teens" dragged a White female college student off her own porch BY HER HAIR, dragged her to a stop sign, and then beat her UNCONSCIOUS... TWICE... ...while a crowd stood around FILMING it!!! The girls called 911 **FIVE TIMES** that night, but police didn't show up until AFTER the beating was over. This happened near York College in Pennsylvania. A group of students, young White women, were on the porch of their off-campus house when a stranger walked up and picked a fight and a mob of Black "teens" rushed them. One of the girls was ripped off the porch by her hair, dragged to a stop sign, then roughly a dozen people jumped her at once, kicking and punching her from every angle while a crowd of up to 30 encircled her. She blacked out TWICE... once from a kick to the ribs and again from a blow to the back of the head. And the whole time, she says, people were recording it on their phones and laughing... filming her get beaten unconscious for entertainment. Her friends were dragged down the steps by their hair too. One was already in a knee brace, recovering from an injury. The girls say they called 911 FIVE separate times. The first calls went out BEFORE the violence even started, when a crowd was gathering and cars were street racing so recklessly that one of them smashed into a parked car next to the firehouse. Five calls. They were told each time that officers were coming. Officers didn't arrive until it was over. Students say this isn't new and that large crowds gather there constantly, and that another student was attacked just two weeks earlier by what they believe is the same group of non-students. "The cops haven't done anything to protect us, and campus safety hasn't done anything. It feels like they're scared to get involved with 'these' people, but then it puts us at risk when they're doing nothing." WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!

Earlier this year in a landmark decision, Turkish officials voted unanimously to give a group of American Christians permits to study the remains of Noah’s Ark. It’s been the greatest pleasure of my life to be a part of one of the most important scientific expeditions in world history. American exploration in the Mountains of Ararat where creation began anew. It’s been so surreal. The evidence is overwhelming. It’s all real. The Bible is real, the global catastrophic flood happened…and the researchers and scientists at Noah’s Ark Scans are going to prove it to the world. The Durupınar investigation is a joint project between Noah’s Ark Scans and Prof. Dr. Cenker Atila, Professor of Archaeology at Sivas Cumhuriyet University in Turkey, who serves as President of the project.

Our children get one childhood, and we cannot allow screens to replace the real-world experiences they need to grow and thrive.  Through the Office of the Surgeon General’s Live Real Life initiative, we are giving families practical tools to put technology in its proper place and get children back to playing, exploring, connecting, and experiencing the world around them.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Nate Friedman went to the mosque where NY Gov. Kathy Hochul wore a hijab and a man outside threatened to KlLL them The place is FOREIGN-FUNDED "Next time I'll pull my pistol out and SHOOT YOU!" 🤯 FRIEDMAN: "We have that on camera!" Where's the police?! Multiple Muslims IMMEDIATELY knew who he was and issued threats They DESPERATELY did not want to be recorded. This scene looks straight out of a third world country and it's terrifying. We should NOT allow this ideology to take root any further in America, and across the entire western world. Look what happened to Ceuta. You start letting them in and they pillage the place. CLOSE OFF THE 3RD WORLD and reclaim America! 🇺🇸

Suppressors are PPE. You should absolutely be able to mail-order one directly to your door without a background check, fingerprints, registration, or government permission. Just as Americans once could.
This Day in History: The Father of the American Suppressor Is Born On September 2, 1869, American inventor Hiram Percy Maxim was born in Brooklyn, New York. Maxim later developed the commercially successful Maxim Silencer, applying his work in sound reduction to tame the expanding powder gases at a firearm’s muzzle. His “silent firearm” patent describes a series of chambers that redirected those gases before they reached the atmosphere. It was a practical invention designed to reduce muzzle blast and noise. Congress nevertheless swept silencers into the National Firearms Act of 1934 and imposed a prohibitive tax specifically intended to discourage their ownership. Maxim’s legacy remains a reminder that suppressors began as ordinary American firearms innovation, and should be treated as common safety equipment, not contraband. @AmSuppressor @GunOwners @gunpolicy @2AFDN @gunrights

Tom, a self proclaimed intellectual, cannot comprehend the funniest part of this whole thing… that Pete was not brought in to earn approval from people like Tom Nichols. He was brought in to dismantle what people like Tom spent years defending and proliferating throughout our military leadership. I have said this many times. Hegseth is a change agent. His mandate was never to preserve the Pentagon’s bloated bureaucracy, credential worshipping academic class, or the spread of a culture that allowed DEI ideology and social experiments to spread through the institution that is supposed to be, above all else, winning wars. You are supposed to hate him, Tom. His goal is to eradicate people like you from our great military.
This is a good time to note that Hegseth is terrible at his job, that the Pentagon is a mess, that he should never have been confirmed, and that he should be fired first thing in the morning. But in this administration, sycophancy is more important than competence. Also- /1

Supporters of high property taxes sued over the language of the ballot summary for Amendment 3, the measure to increase homestead exemptions for homeowners. A judge ordered it to be re-written and I’m pleased to see that the new language polls even higher than the old language. Thanks!

GM. Compel yourself to walk 1 mile a day. Or more, depending on your health. No phone, no music, just you and your thoughts. It’s a great reset! It can happen one day week and slowly build up. Who knows, it may become a habit.

I hope every American citizen puts their money where their morals lie. Grocery shopping? Choose the local brand or one from your state if possible. It may be more expensive. For now. We are here after decades of not buying American. It can be fixed. One day at a time.
