Pulitzer Prize finalist @eisadavis's collection Angela's Mixtape + The History of Light is now available for pre-sale. Dazzling for their political clarity + formal virtuosity, these 2 plays will teach you how to love, think, write, change, + love again:

From @53rdStatePress for #NationalHispanicHeritageMonth:
Lucas Baisch’s play 404 NOT FOUND is “a twisting, twisted work of intricacy, density, and despair netted in kidnap, virtual utopias, upended borders, and Freddy Krueger cosplay.” 53rdstatepress.org/Baisch-40…

THE JAVIER PLAYS by Carlos Murillo contains essays and plays that “fold and unfold like America itself—its violence, its identity crises, its homegrown art, its shape in the eye of the immigrant.”

I'm performing my play THE INTIMACY @flowchartfdn in Hudson, NY on June 29 at 7p ET!
It uses a slippery, shifting first-person plural to tell the story of a leftist choreopolitical collective. There's also some Buster Keaton, & laundry lines...

People sometimes ask what the secrete sauce is to the NOLA poetry scene. Here's four things we strenuously avoid:
1. Inattentiveness to either young or starting writers.
2. Undervaluation older writers.
3. Factionalism.
4. Stoking of subtractive-economic "competition".

Like many small publishers, we're exploring distribution options and dreaming new dreams now that Small Press Distribution's closed. In the meantime and always, you can get our books directly through our website.
