Film Series | Schwartz Athlete Spotlight ⭐️Josiah Garcia @53_josiah Tallwood High School @TallwoodFball OL 6'1 280 Lbs. C/O 2029 It's easy to forget you're watching a young guard already competing at the varsity level because the game rarely looks too fast for him. The maturity in his play immediately stands out. Fires off the football with an outstanding first step, naturally understanding blocking angles and consistently putting himself in position to win the leverage battle before contact is ever made. Comfortable executing pull and kick-out responsibilities while showing the mobility and body control to stay balanced in space. Equally effective on pin-and-pull concepts, where he works under control without sacrificing technique. His hand placement is unusually polished for a player at this stage, consistently keeping his hands inside without overextending or getting out over his toes. Shows strong awareness on combination blocks, understanding when to stay connected and when to work off to the next defender. Even against physical competition, his core strength and balance rarely allow defenders to knock him off his path. A technically advanced young interior offensive lineman whose maturity, leverage, and understanding of the position consistently play beyond his years. Film Link: hudl.com/v/2TVj93
