日本人もそうやって違法行為が是正されていったので、先ず隗より始めよを地で行く話だと思います
確かに、海賊版に関して中国にはまだ無法地帯な部分があります。しかし、今の状況は海外の方が想像しているものとはかなり違ってきています。
最大の理由は「Steamが便利すぎること」です。
今の中国の大多数を占める一般プレイヤーは、わざわざ海賊版を探したりしません。たとえ海賊版のリンクを見かけても、今の若い世代はダウンロードの仕方もインストールの方法も分からず、とにかく「面倒くさい」と感じてスルーします。
「Steamにないなら遊ばない」「高いならセールを待つ」、これが今の中国人プレイヤーのリアルな感覚です。
Steamでの購入・ダウンロードの手軽さによって、中国人の「正規版と海賊版に対する意識」は昔と完全に変わっており、海賊版が正規版の売上に与える悪影響は、昔より遥かに小さくなっています。

I think they're leaving because they've had enough of your show never actually doing anything.
Your show has managed to rake in a ridiculous amount of money. What has really been done with it? A laughable awards show that was really just a circlejerk for your own audience, and never hoped to gain ANY ground from anyone outside of that circle. Best $33k raised ever.
You hyped up doing a show LIVE! Which did....what? It got you and your friends a little vacation. I saw the ticket prices to that. Ridiculous. Did nothing that a normal show didn't already do. No point to it.
In terms of any actual impact, you guy haven't done anything, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE THE FUNDS AND MEANS TO.
Then when something comes around that just barely starts to move the needle in a positive direction, half your staff shits all over it, because outside of all the CALLS for something good and positive to happen, when something actually does, this is the reaction we get? This is one of the worst takes I’ve heard.
This is the exact attitude why the right lost so much ground in the culture war and pop-culture especially - This superior snobby boomer get off my lawn attitude to certain parts of fandom. It’s the satanic panic, videos games cause violence, bull crap.
The popularity of fanfiction literally influences how the mainstream looks at adapting the franchises we love and you want to let the left have full sway in that space?! THAT is lame and gay. The Malfoid meme is the Right literally dominating the Harry Potter fanfiction space for over two weeks and has the potential to overtake it entirely. That’s good and we should want WAY more of this type of thing!
I get that many people hate fanfiction because of the trash it has produced and the actual damage it’s done to many pop-culture franchises, but that happened BECAUSE the right ceded that territory to degenerate shippers and leftist that want to hijack fandoms for their agenda, and WE didn’t make anything to compete against it.
Fanfiction is a sign of a HEALTHY franchise and fandom. Telling people to stop, that it’s theft, wasted potential, gay, and isn’t art, is such an out of touch statement, and will harm that fandom, not help it.
Art should inspire new ideas? Fanfiction is new ideas, a new take on a pre-existing stories. So many beloved movies ARE fanfiction. You think the Disney animated movies are original?!? I guess we should never make another sleeping beauty, Aladin, Robin Hood, king Arthur, Pride and Prejudice, or any type of reimagining or reboot.
Fanfiction is one of the primary ways people get into writing and creating their own things. One of my first story concepts was a dungeons and dragons fan fiction, and now I'm a published author.
Please, PLEASE, reconsider your position

My talents have heard me say this time and again. There's a lot of things that buff and debuff merchandise sales, and nothing is more impactful than a creator genuinely being passionate about their merch.
That transforms it from just a bauble to something with *meaning*.
The ammount of people purposfully making it look like they don't undrstand this point show how luch bloat there is in vtubing ... or that many are actually too fucking stupid to understand ... don't know wich is worse
