ALT This study investigates whether Model Context Protocols (MCPs) can enhance large language models (LLMs) to exhibit early indicators of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) in coding agents. We developed a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application using Streamlit, integrating n8n workflows and Supabase for authentication and coupon management. The Cline Coding Agent, powered by Grok 3 Mini and augmented by five MCPs (Context7, Sequential Thinking, Knowledge Graph Memory, GitHub, and Supabase), completed 90% of the application in nine days for approximately $30 in API costs, compared to a non-MCP baseline that failed within 48 hours. These findings demonstrate that MCPs significantly enhance LLMs’ planning, reasoning, and contextual awareness, approximating early AGI-like behaviours.

ALT The picture illustrates future communication between humans and AI agents in both physical and virtual forms. It is a graphic representation of the "AI-Agent-to-AI-Agent Trusted Communication Layer" Thesis advocated by Web3 researcher Dr. Tali Režun. The thesis advocates that future digital communication will be essential in human and AI agent evolution and that a trust communication layer is needed to protect the confidentiality of conversation. Dr. Režun is proposing a solution in the form of an OCC (on-chain communication) trust layer that is chain agnostic (EVM, SVM, BTC) and open source. A framework that would enable AI agents to communicate and share data with any Human or any other AI agent no matter the platform origin in a fully self-costodial and permissionless manner. Dr. Režun proposes developing an ElizaOS plugin to enable AI agents to seamlessly integrate on-chain communication capabilities, allowing permissionless P2P messaging and secure interactions.

ALT Time is like a blockchain—another year, another block—with our actions as the transactions forever etched in history. 🧩 Let the 2025th block reflect wisdom, purpose, and growth, as most of our choices are immutable. 🛠️💡 Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with meaningful contributions to the ledger of life!

ALT Digital communication has become most relevant in the past decade as digital data has become extremely valuable. Communication in the form of emailing, messaging and data file transfers form the foundation behind most business transactions. Humankind in general has grown a dependency on digital communication as it relies on and depends on it to be robust, confidential, private and secure. Sadly the communication that we use every day is not robust or secure and it is far from private and confidential. Digital legacy communication like emailing, for example, is wide open to Phishing, Spoofing, Spam and the theft of digital identity and data while being vulnerable to brute force, Malware, Ransomware, Man-in-the-middle, Dos, Credential stuffing or other sorts of cyber attacks. Block Labs spent the last six years developing foundations for Web3’s first OCC (i.e. on-chain communication) infrastructure.
