Water doesn't stop at the river's edge, and neither does its impact. Before reaching Sembulungan Bay, floating debris was already making its way downstream through the Setail River. By removing it along the journey, our Java River Team helped protect not just one location, but the connected waterways that lead to the coast. This mission recovered 948.3 pounds of debris, showing that every action upstream can create a ripple downstream. Healthy ocean begin with healthy rivers. When we keep waste out of our waterways, we help protect the ecosystems, wildlife, and communities connected to every mile of water that flows to the ocean.
