your heart is one of the most valuable things you’ll ever have, so be careful with who you trust it to. not everyone who makes you feel something deserves access to the deepest parts of you. love freely, but pay attention to how you’re being treated. don’t ignore the signs just because you see potential in someone. the right person won’t make you regret being vulnerable or leave you struggling to recognize yourself. protect your heart, because not everyone knows how to hold something so precious.

i hateeee when i overshare without realizing it, then get home and replay the entire conversation in my head like why did i say all that? why did i give them that much information? now i’m embarrassed about things they probably forgot five minutes later. i just wanted to have a normal conversation, and somehow i ended up giving someone a whole documentary about my life. never speaking again actually.
