DoesItPlay? and @StopKilingGames are announcing that we're backing SM&C's (Stichting Massaschade & Consument) lawsuit against Sony over its total control of PlayStation Store pricing. We're putting our full weight behind SM&C's case, with the Dutch court.
SM&C has to show the court it actually represents gamers, not just claims to. Our support backs that up globally. Every Dutch gamer who signs on backs it up directly.

Signing on there is what proves to the court that real gamers, not just a foundation, stand behind this. This is a class action lawsuit, so even if you're technically covered without signing up, your name on the record is what counts.

- I bought second hand physical games.

I have an important message for you. This affects ALL OF US !!!
Over the past few days we made our frustration with PlayStation very clear. We flooded their posts with comments, and we cannot stop now. We need to keep applying pressure on every single post they make until promoting games on their own social media becomes a problem for them.
But there’s one more thing I want to ask you.
I know it’s difficult. I know many of you only have a PlayStation to play on. I’m not stupid, I understand that. But as a community, we need to send Sony a message and the best way to do that is with our actions, not just our words.
If you can, cancel your PS Plus subscription. Stop buying games from the PlayStation Store. Use your console offline whenever possible.
It’s not enough to protest or leave angry comments. We have to back up our words with action. That’s the only language corporations truly understand. If PlayStation is your only way to play and you don’t want to give that up, then keep playing. No one is asking you to stop enjoying your hobby. But if you have another option, avoid buying games from the PS Store. If you have the choice, buy physical copies instead. If you can play without PS Plus, cancel it.
This isn’t just for me or for physical collectors. It’s for all of us. Whether you buy digital or physical, we are all gamers. We all deserve better consumer rights and the freedom to choose a format instead of having that choice taken away.
Please understand that this affects every single one of us. The more control Sony has over pricing and distribution, the easier it becomes for them to raise prices in the future. And let’s be honest, nobody wants to pay more for the exct same content.
If we want things to change, we have to stand together. Our actions today will determine what choices we still have tomorrow. Let’s stop fighting each other and start making a difference as a community. Stand together!!

I still have every PlayStation console and lots of game discs, and they all work just fine, and it doesn’t take much effort🚀
In fact, most PS1-PS3 games are far superior to modern games in every way, save for graphics.
So no, “disc decay” isn’t even remotely an issue, and physical games are not “dated”. People still play vinyl records and CDs for music, and they buy enough to make artists release variants and chart to No.1.
Let’s not justify greed, mediocrity and corporate corruption and monopoly, and bootlicking and shilling for corporations as “evolution”

PlayStation is reportedly making various studios furious as they pay them thousands of dollars to feature their games on social media, only for the posts to get flooded with angry comments and community notes over Sony’s plan to end physical game media by January 2028🚀
This may possibly derail promotional campaigns for other games, including GTA6

Remember everyone, Sony seems to be doubling down on their decision to end physical media. The best way to deal with this situation is to refuse to purchase the PS6 and cancel all sources of income for Sony such as the ps plus subscriptions and buying digital ps store media.

Lo que PlayStation quiere es una lucha de desgaste en tres asaltos.
Información:
1️⃣ El primero fue la noticia hace 6 días.
2️⃣ El segundo será a principios de agosto cuando salgan sus primeros charts y reciban el primer impacto en sus números.
3️⃣ El final round nos llevará a septiembre, tras el borrado de las compras de películas digitales de nuestras librerías.
Pelea en la que aprovecharán en todo momento para lanzar evasivas, desviar nuestra atención y que nos cansemos de luchar para que su mercado se estabilice de nuevo y salirse con la suya.
Tened presente durante estos meses que sus inversores están monitorizando lo que sucede y a mayores pérdidas tengan, más inversores les dejarán plantados llegado el momento, más expuestos se van a quedar y más tendrán que recular.

Los empresarios planean y traman esperando a que bajemos la guardia y “olvidemos” y ese es nuestro peor enemigo.
