Well that sounds idiotic for them to build a game that way for it to be a pvp title. It needs to go back to the way it was. You cant play for damage anymore so everyone just plays for the chunk and up A, back A or bot walk everything. That completely removes the skill gap. It lets people get rewarded for poor positioning and gunfights
Trades are by far my least favorite part right now. The game is too forgiving and not punishing people for stupid plays
