The Broward County Aviation Department had another successful job fair, highlighting opportunities at our FLL/Hollywood airport. In addition to over 20 employers there were resume writing and interviewing skills sessions on hand for job seekers!

Improving our transit system is paramount to any thriving metropolitan region..staff members of Broward transit and I visited Palm Beach County transit - Palm Tran to learn more about their Microtransit transportation system.

Thanks to all those who took the time out of their busy schedules to attend our TransitForward townhall. I’d like to thank staff who provided a wealth of information and answered many questions asked of them. One thing is clear we will improve our services and offer more options!

We will do more to address our current transit challenges.. I am committed to getting this done. As a clarification to this piece on NBC6 we collected 500 million dollars in surtax money in one year; since the inception the figure is 3 billion dollars
