As 2025 comes to an end - my 40 years of @Charlotte49ers has also come to end. I will cherish every coach, student-athlete, media staff/production and great media commentators. I will do broadcast production events for networks but ready for family time & being a fan!
Thank you @OleMissSports for the wonderful tribute to Tom. The bottle of @MountainDew is a great touch as it was his favorite and when we were roommates, I saw him drink a few 3-liters in one sitting that brought some good memories.
What a classy act by @OleMiss to honor a great man at the football contest today. We appreciate you!
Tom’s passing has devastated me but left me feeling blessed of our friendship. I got to know & work him on his first day at @Charlotte49ers and remained friends since then. He was not only a mentor, roommate, a groomsman at my wedding but most of all, one of my best friends.
It is with heavy hearts that the Charlotte 49ers community mourns the passing of former Charlotte Administrator Tom Whitestone.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family Kim, Sam, and Allie, and to the many student-athletes and colleagues whose lives were positively impacted by Tom 💚

Today, I am in the booth for my 14th season opener working @CharlotteFTBL . I will get to track stats for the talent providing game information to share with those watching on ESPN+ I am just excited for today as I was for the Inaugural Game in 2013. Blessed I continue to work
