I thoroughly enjoyed this 49ers season, but there are too many glaring needs on this team. IOL, Edge, LB, CB, FS, WR, TE, and RB. CMC and Kittle are worn down. They are warriors but it’s time to move on. Good bye to Juice too. No more “running it back.” Time to evolve Kyle. #fttb

What if Shanahan pulled the ultimate chess move and started Mac vs the Seahawks? I’m not saying Brock won’t win, only that the Seahawks would have prepared all week for Brock and gotten Mac—who is also good enough to win the game. That is a Coach of the year move @grantcohn

I think they Shanahan and Saleh purposely put together a vanilla game plan vs Seattle in week 18 because they knew they’d likely face them in the playoffs. They thought they could win either way, and they almost did, but they didn’t want to jeopardize the playoff gameplan. #fttb

If Macdonald lost Sam Darnold for 8 games, JSN didn't play a snap, lost Kupp for 8, lost Barner for 6, lost Leonard Williams for 14, and lost Nwosu for 11, there's no way he'd even be in the playoffs, let alone playing for the top seed in Week 18.
