It all began at Oxpens Road... I started playing here 26 years ago, first got involved with the ENL/NIHL here 11 years ago and of course 482days began here 4 years ago. So it feels fitting that it ends here (at least for now) It’s been a blast 482days signing out Night all.

Last thanks go to everyone online who has RT'd, joined in the banter or just followed along. We said it every week, but it really did mean a lot and without you lot, what I was doing would have been kind of pointless.

Thanks to everyone who ever entered #piamg and especially my regulars who entered every week. I genuinely never expected the competition to get that big - and some of you took it WAY too seriously... But it was good fun.

A special thanks to @carrsy2 who was incredibly helpful with photos and contacts when I first started and then later kept me up to date with what I had been up to each weekend. I always enjoyed finding out!

Some of my favourite moments have come from covering our U20 and Womens' national teams. Big thanks to @lovehokej for giving us our first international press accreditation and to @TeamGBicehockey for giving us access and exposure.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed a piece for the website, either as a one-off or as part of our 10by10 season previews. And especial thanks to @LTIceHockeyNerd and @McDermott_Sport who became my NIHL2 correspondents, writing regularly (and better than me).

Next - to all the team staff, players and coaches around the league. Firstly, thanks for all the work you put in to give em something to tweet about! I know first hand just how much it takes! Secondly, thanks for taking the time to talk to me online and IRL - it mattered a lot.

First I would like to thanks @oxford_77, @Simonhockey45 and the @OxfordCityStars team from 4 years ago for getting behind me in the early days - giving me loads of interviews and access to get me started. The 6-4 home win against Chelmo that season is also one of my highlights!
