ICYMI: 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Thousands of Iranian Americans, many openly expressing support for President Trump, gathered in Washington, D.C., for a large demonstration on the National Mall. Getty Images has authenticated this video from that exact location showing demonstrators chanting “Thank you, President Trump!”
Local Washington reports also described “thousands” gathering on the National Mall, waving American and Iranian flags, with some carrying “Thank you President Trump” signs and wearing “Make America Great Again” and “Make Iran Great Again” hats. Question: Were people there actually expressing support/gratitude toward Trump? Answer: YES.
Getty’s footage specifically documents the “Thank you, President Trump!” chant. The Washington reporting documents pro-Trump signs and MAGA/MIGA hats. When did this happen: It occurred March 29, 2026, near the Capitol/National Mall.
