I’m so psyched for this season! Sad that it’s the first year since 2020 that I’m not covering the team in some capacity but as a fan, this is the most enthusiastic I’ve been entering a season in at least ten years. Get ready to #RaiseIt #LetsGoBucs
Lowe going from statistically the WORST defensive 2B to among the best in just one year in Pittsburgh might be the biggest story this season

Dumbest and worst possible timeline and have to imagine there will be more incidents like this ahead of Election Day next month
BREAKING: Federal agents searched Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar's home as part of a criminal investigation, AP sources say. apnews.com/article/ilhan-oma…
If @GovernorShapiro gets a trifecta after next month’s elections, doing this in PA should be a top priority. We have 15 community colleges (same as Massachusetts, who also passed this initiative) and create opportunities for all families to send their kid to college
Bowden coming in hot with an AWFUL take
In this wildcard format the team that wins game 1 has won their series 18 out of 19 times. Regardless of who wins Phillies @ Braves we have enough sample size for MLB/MLBPA to bargain to reduce WC back to one game series instead of 2 out of 3 while also bringing back game 163 as tie breakers. Just my opinion.
Maybe do a better job when raising your kid so that they want their kid to have a relationship with you? My son LOVES my wife’s parents. My mom? He’s met her 3x - and only once since 2020.
Parents who get cut off by their kids did something worth being cut off from their kids.
My one and only (probably) baseball boomer take is that relievers who only pitch one inning should only pitch one inning. Duran pitched in 61 games this year and was tasked with 4+ outs just once
Add Yohan to this list! 🥳🥳🥳

Lowe coming to Pittsburgh and becoming a legitimate plus glove only to be overshadowed by the best defensive 2B in MLB in the same division 😓
I think this is premature to cut Doval. He’s mostly gotten bad luck since coming to Pittsburgh as his .367 BABIP is 4th highest in that span among RP with at least 19 IP (FWIW, Soto is 5th at .360). The walks are a concern but not an unmanageable one.
Per @fangraphs, since 8/1 the #Pirates have had the most valuable bullpen (includes long relief) with the 3rd best ERA (3.08) and 4th most innings pitched (140.1) in that span. The team has only two blown saves in that stretch (2nd compared to 19 before that. What a turnaround!
