It’s been a while since I’ve checked in on Twitter.
To be honest, I don’t miss the need to yell at strangers who say stupid sh*t, but I just needed to see the unhinged things I’m sure will happen here today because of the US election.

I’ve never watched #EUROVISION outside of that Will Farrell movie, but the stories of what is happening to Israel’s contestant this year are just disgusting.

Been over a month since my last Twitter check-in.
I have to say, avoiding this rage-scape and the need (not want, need) to yell at strangers for being absolute morons has been great for my mental health.

Now, that said, I’m probably going to poke around a bit here today and I’ll likely yell at some terrible humans that deserve it to occupy my time, but do I miss it? Not at all.
I do miss the old community vibes though. I wish Twitter was still like that.
It boggles my mind how a legitimate war, started by Hamas, keeps getting so loudly called a genocide, while legitimate genocides around the world are actually being ignored.
I mean, it should boggle my mind, but then I remember which one Jewish people are involved in.

I am sick & tired of this BS being pushed by these ill-informed antisemites.
🇮🇱 has mandatory military service, literally everyone has to serve with few exceptions.
Contrast that with 🇨🇦 where we don’t have mandatory service. Those of us who wear the uniform volunteer to serve.
Servicewomen or not, to wish death on anyone is beyond the pale. Never mind all of the falsehoods that continue to be perpetuated by people who no longer care to pretend that this hasn’t always been about one thing: hating Jews.
Release them and all the hostages now immediately and unconditionally, so that the path to a just & durable peace in the Middle East can be possible.
