The new owner is playing fast & loose with the livelihoods of @IcelandFoodsIre workers who have bills to pay & families to support.
During the previous strike action by @the_IWU members, workers were given guarantees by management which have now been broken.

I'm really proud that the makers of @406_Days saw fit to include an acknowledgment to me in closing credits. There was no need - but i appreciate it.
I missed the mention at the Dublin premiere so it was a lovely surprise to see my name in the closing credits here in #Limerick
📺 Another screening for me tonight. This time, I’m across at @OmniplexCinema in Dooradoyle as @406_Days which focuses on the plight of the sacked Debenhams workers makes its bow in #Limerick.
The powerful doc premiered in March at the Dublin Film Festival and local workers play a leading role.
It’s to be followed by a question and answer session among the workers.

Go see #406days ! Ireland's (KPMG, Courts, Garda & Govt.) shameful treatment of former Debenham's employees. Became 🇮🇪 longest running industrial dispute. @406_Days – at Wicklow, Ireland
An incredible sold-out 406 DAYS screening in @moviesthesquare today!
We had an inspirational Q&A afterwards with former Debenham’s workers Carol, Brian & Jackie and director Joe Lee & producer Fergus Dowd.

It's amazing how Debenhams was able to mobilise so many Gardaí to stop workers getting what they're owed but are unable to protect the most vulnerable from violence directed by racists and fascists
The test case involved former Debenhams Henry Street shop steward Jane Crowe and could have implications for around 750 former workers
