We've been working on an ML compiler framework that uses JAX as a frontend, and compiles via EnzymeAD+LLVM. Dynamic support in the JAX frontend is pretty extensive, just not supported with XLA, but we managed to get it working quite well with LLVM: docs.pennylane.ai/projects/c…

One day @llvmorg will be quantum... But what does that look like? Well, @3rdquantization gives a glimpse into what it might look like! 🔗🎦⤵️
NEW TALK ALERT: How Do We Make LLVM Quantum? Listen to the wonderful Josh Izaac of Xanadu/PennyLane explain Why you don’t need to be a quantum physicist to build the programming stack of the future... #quantum #llvm

Large Language Models (LLMs) are great at building up complex paragraphs from simple word tokens. What if your language building block is a unitary — can we use LLMs and GPT to build a quantum machine learning ansatz?
Why let VQE have all the fun?🎪 Learn how classical generative models can estimate ground-state energies of molecular Hamiltonians, instead of VQE. Explore our demo applying the GQE (generative quantum eigensolver) algorithm with PennyLane👇 pennylane.ai/qml/demos/gqe_t…

What a conference! So much energy, the highlight for me was the Quantum Software 2.0 workshop and meeting so many like minded people.

This year’s @IEEEQuantumWeek covers more #QuantumComputing #Software topics than ever before (in keynotes, technical presentations, workshops, etc.). Obviously, we are loving that! 😉 And we are happy to contribute to that.🙂 1/4 #IEEEQuantumWeek #QCE2024

If you're at IEEE Quantum Week, our workshop on quantum software is starting now in room 523AB! Olivia Di Matteo starts us off by asking, what is the best abstraction hierarchy for quantum programming?
At IEEE Quantum Week this year, we're organizing a workshop by people working on quantum software to discuss the problems we are trying to solve, and what people are exploring when it comes to next generation quantum software ideas and architectures: sites.google.com/view/quantu…

Huge thanks to @PennyLaneAI and @DWierichs for showcasing our results! Amazing and lightning fast as always! If you missed the paper, you can find it here: arxiv.org/abs/2409.01706
Last week, Angrisani et al. showed that a classical simulation technique can efficiently estimate expectation values of many parametrized quantum circuits, on average across parameters. This week, we have a demo: pennylane.ai/qml/demos/tutor…

This is the workshop for you if you have recently been wondering: - What is the current state of quantum software in 2024? - Is our software ready to run/support useful algorithms on quantum computers? - Why is everyone in quantum software suddenly talking about LLVM?

Incredible work by @Qottmann writing a demo on a paper just a few days after it was released
Shallow quantum circuits are provably powerful, yet training them can be difficult. @RobertHuangHY et al overcome this obstacle with a powerful new tool, circuit sewing with local inversions. If you don’t have time to read 88 pages, @Qottmann showcases these techniques in our latest demo: pennylane.ai/qml/demos/tutor… The full paper by @RobertHuangHY, @lyc1178, @JarrodMcclean, @Isaac__kim, @AnuragAnshu4, Michael Broughton, and Zeph Landau can be found here: arxiv.org/abs/2401.10095
