Racing the Tour of Flanders for the first time in 2009 was a pinch myself moment. From the sign on in Bruges, to the fight for the break, to riding up the Paterberg just behind Boonen and Pozzato, to getting in an attack with Chavanel, Hoste & Quinziato, to Boonen and Devolder flying past me on the Volkenberg. I don't often big myself up (publicly - privately I'm a massive narcissist), but that day I felt like a proper pro cyclist, mixing it with some big names. Tomorrow, I shall be watching as one of the biggest fans of the race. I love it. Enjoy, everyone. #RVV26
