My best hyperlocal gift find of the year. I actually laughed out loud when I saw it at Earth and State in Media. IYKYK #Delco

Yesterday, Officer Sam Willis and assisting officers responded to a call for a person in crisis. Upon arrival, Officer Willis encountered a disabled person who was in an excited state and in apparent distress.

I can’t thank him enough. Also a big thank you to McDonalds for helping the community when needed, for bringing back the McRib and for having a functioning ice cream machine

My thks to all officers in the area who assisted in this. Chasing a perp on foot in total darkness not knowing if he’s armed or not is something that most people can’t wrap their minds around. It’s just flat out bravery. Thank you to all imvolved delcotimes.com/2024/11/07/pr…

Pics from this year's Independance Day celebration. We are fortunate to have both experienced and younger officers in our community. Our experienced officers can provide much needed insight into law enforcement issues for our residents, and our young cops can run faster.

Somehow there will be driver at the blockade asking a cop if they can still get through.
NEW: Landslide destroys the Teton Pass highway connecting eastern Idaho to Jackson, Wyoming. Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon shared video footage at milepost 12.8 from someone who nearly got swept away as the ground gave way. Thankfully, no one was injured however a 30-minute commute just turned into an hour and 30-minute commute for locals. Gordon said it's unclear how long it will take for the road to reopen. "At this point, we do not have an estimated timeline for the road to reopen. I recognize the impacts this closure has to Teton County residents, regional commuters and the local economy, and we are in direct communication with local officials."

5 years ago today I signed off of Upper Darby @UDPolice radio for the last time! I really miss the people I work with and wish them the best. Also happy to now be part of a town that has been so supportive and with cops that work extremely hard.

When I first got to PP, some of the first people I met were Nour (right) and her sister Amira. I recently learned that Nour attended her first karate tournament and took first place in Sparring, Weapons, and Form. Get your kids into martial arts for discipline, and humility.

While on patrol today, I met these two guys- Jaxon and Brady. The impact cops can have in their community is profound. More than ever, we need people to know that we are approachable, compassionate, & willing to serve.

At the close of my 28th year, I can honestly say that I have worked alongside of some of the finest people in law enforcement. They are good people who want the best for their communities, their families, and their coworkers. It’s been such a privilege to take this ride with you.
