If a team told Russ, "We have a ton of young talent, but we need a veteran leader. You might only play 12–15 minutes per game, but our young guys could really benefit from your leadership," I'm 95% sure he'd be all in.
Russ just wants to impact winning at all costs, whatever that entails.
