Regina “Dr.” accused of multiple sexual assaults and impropriety, Imafidon “Thomas” Izekor was found guilty of two counts of sexual misconduct, one involving a 16-year-old minor and another involving a 19-year-old patient, and is currently suspended in Saskatchewan.
Despite his suspension, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) continues to allow him to see female patients, in contrast to Saskatchewan’s medical board, which deemed him a risk and required him to demonstrate rehabilitation before resuming practice.
I went to Edmonton’s Northgate Medical Clinic to ask whether “Dr.” Imafidon is still asking minors out for dinner, telling them not to inform their parents, and lecturing them that they need an “older guy” to take care of them. What I found out was concerning.
In 2014, the Texas Medical Board issued an order against Imafidon requiring him to stop falsely advertising himself as a “doctor” in Texas. “Dr.” Imafidon’s case is another example of weak federal and provincial medical-board oversight, particularly when it comes to misrepresentation and fraud by foreign graduates claiming to be “doctors.”

First of all, wrong idiom, wrong interpretation and wrong application.... but let's go with your version.
Ottawa already ate the cake. Albertans baked it, paid for the oven, and still get lectured for wanting a slice left on the plate.
You can’t keep taking our energy revenue, block our pipelines, then tell us we’re greedy for noticing the plate is empty. That’s not ‘have your cake and eat it' that’s you eating ours and calling it Confederation.
So yes, I want my cake and I'll eat it.
P.S. The older, clearer version is “you can’t eat your cake and have it too.” Once you eat it, the cake is gone. You cannot consume something and still possess it. You spend the money or you keep the money. You use the resource or you still have the resource.

Vienna Demeduk was a healthy jogger. After receiving a Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on July 2, 2021, she suffered a stroke and hemorrhaged.
She says doctors whispered. They told her she was "the seventh person this week" who was young, fit, and injured.
One doctor allegedly told her privately she'd lose her license if she spoke about it.
