Heading out to join @UOPUCU colleagues for a mass day of @ucu action. We're striking to protect what's left of higher ed & to try to improve it for everyone. The sector needs proper resourcing and ethical innovation from the top. Your children deserve a better deal! #ucuRISING

Thread of reflection 1/12:
We lost our NPO funding today.
We deliver 100% to the core values of the Let's Create strategy. We work in the most soci-economically stressed communities in co-creative and long-term collaborative ways that honour the expertise they have.

The symposium was rich with sensitive & inspiring presentations from #libitsibungu @shelleytrower @angelcakepie @franrowse facilitated by @AAPiccini furthering the conversation around contemporary Cornish cultural identity. I am honoured to have these voices within MESKLA 🙏🏽

Thank you to all who participated in Saturday’s MESKLA | Brewyon Drudh symposium @KresenKernow. I hope everyone went on to enjoy the dancing and music across Redruth with @Lowenderperan. What a wonderful festival it was this year 💛
So many Cornish museums under threat from the timebomb of council cuts made in the last 12 years. The @Cornwall_Museum is also at risk. We can ask the @duchyofcornwall to step up, but we need regime change fast. Heritage can't take more austerity #Cornwall cornwalllive.com/news/cornwa…

A reminder that Jeremy Hunt, when Health Secretary, sold the state-owned NHS blood plasma supplier - Plasma Resources UK - to Bain Capital, a US company co-founded Mitt Romney, in a £230m deal.
Bain Capital then sold it on to the Chinese Creat Group. For £820m.
