I didn't go to college until I was 30. This gave me a chance to see it with the perspective of an adult.
One lecture in Industrial Psychology, in particular, I will never forget.
The professor spoke about how an effective job description focused on concretely measurable tasks, not vague instructions, or characteristics.
For example, "maintain an 85% or greater average on customer feedback surveys", instead of "be cheerful and upbeat", or even "interact positively with customers".
This means that goals are clear, and performance is measurable. A job is to do something, not be something.
Once some of the students had wrapped their minds around this concept, the professor decided to do a class exercise.
He asked the female students to come up with a job description for "husband". At first, this went fine. The girls noodled around a bit with things they wanted their husbands to be (tall, etc), but he was able to gradually steer them towards describing what they wanted in terms of actions.
But then he asked the male students to define a wife in the same way.
And all the girls became upset. Some of them had full-on meltdowns.
Every single thing that a male student wanted, or expected, from his hypothetical future wife was sexist, oppressive, old-fashioned, misogynistic, patriarchal, etc.
They were literally screaming. Some of them in tears.
And I realized something pretty quickly. It wasn't the actual, concrete responsibilities of the female role that they objected to.
It was the idea of there being a female role at all, with any attached responsibilities.
These women didn't want to be wives. They wanted to be pets.
What's a pet? Well a pet is not a wife, or a friend. A pet is a creature of instinct, which you bring into your home because you like how it naturally behaves.
You get a cat because you want to behave like a cat, and do things a cat naturally does, like play with string, and purr when you pet him. If he's smart, he'll adapt to you somewhat, but he doesn't have responsibilities other than "be a cat".
If you get a wife, you get a wife so she will do things for you, specific things that are the responsibilities of wife, like care for your home, bear and raise your children, cook nutritious meals so you don't have to eat processed slop, look after your emotional well-being, and so on.
These girls didn't want to be held responsible for those things. As married women, they might have anticipated doing some of them, but only some of the time. Only when they felt like it.
The cat chases the string if and when it wants to, not because chasing the string is its job.
These young millenial women didn't realize it, but they wanted to be pets. And that's what they were in their college relationships. They hung out with guys when they wanted to, had sex with them when they wanted to, broke up with them for someone new when they wanted to.
Their relationships had no element of reciprocal responsibilities. They were perfectly at home with the idea of men having responsibilities to them, but they would repay those men if they chose, and how they chose, not how the men actually wanted.
And as I've said twice already, someone you have responsibilities to, but who has none to you, is a pet, or a child.
Since our ancestors, in a moment of foolishness and weakness, allowed women to vote, it is no longer legal to dole out the corrective spankings a great many of them both need and read pornographic novels about.
Therefore, the corrective measure, for any man who finds himself with a pet instead of a wife, is to withdraw from any husbandly duties and start actively searching for alternatives.
This can either result in a correction of the behavior, or the end of a relationship that offers no value. Either is acceptable.
This may strike some of you as dishonorable, but there is no honor in keeping a broken pact, or in serving those who despise you.
Men must have the pride and self-worth to say "I will be honored and respected, or I will depart to a place where I can be, even if I must be alone there."
Men must honor and respect themselves.

今天看到 Claude 工程负责人 Felix Rieseberg 写了一篇文章,叫《How to be more ambitious》,教人如何更有野心地使用 AI。
Felix
Felix
Hi, I'm Felix. I'm an eng lead working on Claude. I love watching people take flight and do things they never thought possible.
We often describe that as "being more ambitious" when using AI, which is tricky advice to follow. I wrote a tutorial:
felixrieseberg.com/how-to-be…
1. Download the RBTV+ app and watch all your matches with no server related buffering.
2. Download Clipbox to watch the latest movies and TV shows in 4k
3. Download Plex for older movies and TV shows in 4k
4. Download AvoTV to watch Nigerian/African Channels in SD and HD
5. Give youtube 1700 for ad free watching and music
6. Give mtn 30k for FibreX or FlyX unlimited internet
Then tell DSTV to go **** themselves
All these have been tested on Android/Google TV, and to some extent on mobile

In 2017, total 615 students competed at the International Mathematical Olympiad. One problem defeated almost everyone.
608 contestants scored zero. Only two solved it completely.
The problem involved a hunter chasing an invisible rabbit.
Both move exactly one unit per turn. The hunter receives an approximate location of the rabbit, accurate to within one unit.
Can the hunter guarantee being within 100 units of the rabbit after a billion moves?
Surprisingly, no.
The rabbit can exploit the uncertainty in the tracking information to force the squared distance between them to grow.
The problem averaged just 0.04 points out of 7, making it the hardest IMO problem in the competition's history up to 2017.
The two students who solved it were Linus Cooper of Australia and Mikhail Ivanov of Russia.

10 truths that I learned as a decamillionaire (10M$+) in my 20s:
1. If you didnt get girls before money, you won’t afterwards.
“Gold diggers will be attracted to me!”
Very few young women care about money. You know what Gold diggers are called? Women older than 25. Once they turn 25 & finished riding the D carousel, they all want to settle down with a rich man.
2. You realize that expensive things are often garbage. Lamborghini? Formaldehyde-ass-smelling plastic car. Only male teenagers will be impressed by it.
5-star hotels? Toxic laundry detergent, polyester bed sheets, non-organic food. It’s a scam
3. You realize that 99% are slaves to serve you. “Working” is actually just slavery. Rich people just shuffle money around. You won’t say this publicly of course to keep your employees happy. We’re a Team! We’re building the future! I work really hard! and other motivational BS
4. Again, rich people don’t work. Capitalism is just progressing from self employed to business to investor. Investor is the end game. You literally just invest a million here, a few millions there and hope it grows 2X, 3X, 5X
At some point you launch some charity to “change the world” which will have almost no impact compared to governments which have the monopoly on violence and print trillions.
5. Rich people are still slaves in a tax farm. Yeah sure they might bribe their way here and there, have powerful connections, but if they make too many enemies eventually they are put in prison.
6. You realize no one is in control. Despite what schizo conspiratards tell you, all people at the top are absolute morons.
The people who truly control the world are a mix of 3-letter USA agencies, big tech & the media who influences public opinion (INCLUDING the opinions of people at the top)
7. The true biological purpose of life is having as many fit offspring as possible. It’s like a game of Agario, you just multiply as much as possible. Most people nowadays fail at it (0-1 kids).
Wealth helps you raise & afford these kids, but other than that it’s truly meaningless. Some homeless dude living on an island by the sea can have more or the same enjoyment as billionaires.
8. Your kids will be manipulated by mass media. If you aren’t a normie, your kids will be. Unless you keep your kids in a closed community (ie amish), chances are extremely high they will be normies & adopt mass culture ideas (ie Bill Gates daughter dating a black guy). This is an unfortunate reality.
9. The reason you want to be rich is that you are insecure. Maybe you’re short, maybe balding, maybe you’re not white, maybe have acne, maybe you’re ugly - you are insecure. You believe you are superior & want money to confirm the fact that you are to cope with your insecurities. Prove the world you’re the man! But nobody will actually give a shit once you do become rich. Because you’ll be in your 30s or 40s. Most 18yo women will find you creepy & you have to resort to ever more depraved ways to trick them into sleeping with you/impregnate them. (a la Epstein)
10. Youth is the most important thing. And biohacking is a scam. You are going to age, no matter what.
Every rich person tells you they’d spend millions/billions to be young again.

Your next customer will never see your website.
Their AI assistant will show up, read a page of instructions meant for programmers, and decide in a few seconds whether to use your product or a competitor’s. Nobody on your team will know a decision was even made.
This is already happening. 72% of the traffic on ReadMe’s API docs now comes from AI agents. Those docs are the manuals software companies write for developers, and most of their readers stopped being developers.
Think about what happens when something breaks. A person who hits an error Googles it, asks a coworker, pokes around the dashboard. An agent reads the error message and nothing else. If it says “invalid request,” that’s a dead end, and an agent at a dead end just picks another tool. No support ticket, no angry email. Your signups get a little flatter and you never find out why.
So the error message is now one of the most important screens your product has. Restless puts the fix steps and a doc link right inside the failed response, which sounds minor until you realize that’s the one spot an agent is guaranteed to read.
The deeper problem is how APIs got built in the first place. They were made for integrations: a developer reads the docs once, writes the code, ships it, and that setup has to keep working for years. So companies only exposed what integrations needed. Settings, sign-up, permissions all stayed behind buttons in the UI.
Agents need all of it. I hit this constantly with my own agents. They get 90% of a task done, then hand me a link to some settings page so I can click one toggle. The human ends up as the agent’s courier.
Sam put it bluntly: every company is an API company now, whether they want to be or not.
An integration contract has to last for years. An agent contract only has to last a few seconds. Once you see that, the smart move is two layers: a frozen API for integrations, and an agent-facing layer that changes as fast as the product does.
The last piece flips the feedback problem. Agents were always going to know exactly what’s broken in your API, they just had nowhere to say it. Now a stuck agent gets asked what went wrong, and the answer lands as a Linear issue. Somebody finally built the inbox.

I fed my husband a high fertility diet for 12 months before conceiving in the first try 🙃
His diet consisted of:
- Daily: (raw) milk, butter, salt, dairy, beef, eggs, fresh fruit/OJ, 1 Brazil nut, carb source like (sweet) potato and (pine) honey
- Multiple times a week: sardines, oysters, bone marrow, ice cream, coffee with milk and sugar, sourdough, jam, chicken, ice cream, bone broth or salmon head soup, white fish
12 months of 0 alcohol, 0 cigarettes, 0 drugs.
WE'VE BEEN OPTIMIZING THE WRONG HALF, focussing mostly on the woman's fertility 🤭

I hate to break it to you, but if you want to be successful and you aren't from a rich family, you have to sacrifice a lot. You have to sacrifice your health, your mental health, your personal life, and your reputation. For every rich family and every trust fund baby you see, there was someone in that family who sacrificed everything to build that wealth.
It takes a psychopathic and sociopathic level of dedication to make it out of this corrupt system.
