My Persona OC is not gonna make it into the Revamp Pack, so I don't mind showing Kazuto off now. Credits to @L1ttlewolf_ for the hair model. Only the 3D model work for Kazuto has been done so far. No rigging, skeleton, or animation work yet...

X incorrectly labels this post as "Made with AI." The video is a manual recomposition of official Dragon Ball Super cels created in After Effects by the artist, as shown in side-by-side comparisons and the creator's descriptions.

Something interesting I was shown
Toriyama based Super Saiyan’s hair standing up off of a Japanese idiom where one’s hair stands up when they’re enraged
Which is reflected in SSJ1 and 2
But SSJ3’s hair, points down, and 3 just so happens to be the form that is the least associated with rage, with that really just coming from a few game appearances
Vegeta’s SSJ3 hair in Daima points more towards the middle, not completely down or up
Which would fit his generally angrier personality

During the Battle of Chosin Reservoir (Korean War, 1950), the First Marine Division found themselves surrounded by over a hundred thousand Chinese troops in freezing temperatures. They radioed an emergency order for "Tootsie Rolls," which was a code phrase for 60mm mortar rounds, but the radio operator at the supply depot misunderstood and had crates full of actual Tootsie Roll candies airdropped in.
They were mad at first, but when they found their rations frozen and inedible in the freezing weather, the Tootsie Rolls became a quick and easy source of calories because a Marine could just suck on them until they softened enough to chew.
They also found that the Tootsie Rolls were useful for plugging bullet holes in fuel tanks and radiators. They could rub them in their hands until they became pliable, stick them in holes, then they would rapidly harden in the cold air. This stopped leaks and kept equipment running.
This error actually saved their lives.

this post has so much wisdom in it i thought naval wrote it
and i don't think the author even realizes why
if you understand this properly, you can explain almost all political issues we see in the world today
you can't take care of your loved ones if you can't even take care of yourself. you can't build a functioning country if your loved ones aren't taken care of. and you certainly can't save the world if your own country is falling apart. responsibility has to expand outwards.
the problem with so much left-wing thinking is that it's backwards. it starts with the most noble sounding objective imaginable, "saving the world" or "climate change" or "poor migrants", and thinks about the most nice-sounding solution, without considering if the conditions required to achieve it even exist, and that's why so many apparently well-intentioned policies end up doing the exact opposite of what they were supposed to achieve.
they sound compassionate, but completely ignore incentives, tradeoffs, or second-order consequences
clean your own damn bedroom and put your house in order before trying to change the world
you will never be able to fix the world if you can't even get the order of your own responsibilities right

That's the thing I like about JoJo's, not every fight ends with the protagonist simply overpowering the antagonist.
I love Outcomes like this, where the winner is the smarter guy, not just the stronger.

The UK has been trying to push awful ID age verification laws for years now
They have no right to take away your privacy
I can’t wait to see these Digital ID laws fail just like they did in Australia

the online safety movement doesnt need to be killed off, it needs to be reverted to what it was over a decade ago, dont give out private info, especially not IDs and random face scans to anyone who asks, stay private for your own safety

Britain now has a speech kill switch, and as of Monday it’s armed. Large platforms must keep a crisis censorship plan they don’t have to publish, ready to fire the moment speech regulator Ofcom’s definition of a crisis is merely “likely.” That definition covers local events, regional events, and even events overseas.
The content in scope includes “foreign interference,” which can apply to information that is entirely true if it’s presented the wrong way. Ofcom admits political speech will get caught and calls the extra false positives “proportionate.” Police get a dedicated line to the platforms, and they don’t need a court order to use it. The reviews afterwards happen in private too...
