This is an incredible speech by @antmiddleton. Every single second of this 3:22 video hits hard. The focus on standards at the beginning especially resonated with me. Standards across the entire country are slipping before our very eyes, not just in Portsmouth. Then he talks about demoralised citizens who no longer feel safe in their own communities. Portsmouth. Dover. Piddington. Brighton. Middlesbrough. In recent years we have seen people from towns and cities across Britain saying they feel unsafe in their own country for the first time, particularly women and families. A speech like this will inevitably fuel calls for Ant Middleton to take the next step into frontline politics. I personally want people like Ant Middleton representing Britain as MPs. Watch the full 3:22. It’s worth every second.

Danny Thomas has been arrested for trying to protect our shores. Patriots, be careful while protesting. Don’t take the law into your own hands. The establishment will come after us. They are waiting for us to make a mistake.

So in the new Golden Axe animated series the thief gnomes are actually gay perverts who enjoy getting beaten up. They just walk around the campfire carrying their bags of magic potions until the party members beat the shit out of them. This is Thundercats Roar levels of disrespect. SEGA needs to pay attention to this. The people behind this animated series are damaging the legacy of one of the most influential and important IPs in their history.

Wolverine ESTIMATED Sales Numbers Based on the data I pulled, Wolverine has sold between a total of 850K and 1 million total sales. My "best" estimates are that it isn't quite at 1 million copies, but it will be by this weekend. The physical sales estimate may be a little high right now. I'm locking it at 37%, similar to Yotei based off of Alinea's physical sales findings in September. The real question is, will Insomniac or Sony actually tell us this time, or will they be coy with the numbers, since they're disappointing? Cheers!

Let's break the estimated Wolverine sales down into cold, hard cash. Overall, this is about $46 million in Sony's pocket against a $305 million production cost, not including marketing. What players actually spent: • 605k digital x 355k physical is about $68 million at the register Sony doesn't keep all of that. Digital is the most profitable (and why these a-holes are pushing all-digital). It’s Sony’s own store, so there is no 30% “store tax.” They keep the $70, minus royalties (covered later) Physical is the leaky one. GameStop, Amazon, or whoever buys the disc get it wholesale for about $45, not $70. Then the disc, box, and shipping cost a few bucks more. Sony less per physical copy. Then Marvel gets paid. Licensed character. Figure about $10 a copy. On 960k that’s around $10 million to Disney/Marvel. So the split looks like this: Players spent: $68M Sony booked before Marvel: $56M Marvel’s cut: $10M Sony after royalties and discs: $46M After only two days they're a long way from profit. The game still has a reported $305M budget sitting behind it. Marketing is unknown, though estimates range from $50M to $100M. I lean toward $50M because that last number is insane, man. Digital is doing almost all the real work. Physical makes the sales look better, but the hit to Sony's wallet is much greater. Cheers!
