A few thoughts on #Texas #WinterStorm from this week...
TLDR: The media runs a pariah narrative pitting sides against each other...but that's just a distraction.
The real message: We may have lost power and heat, but the heart of Texas will still warm your soul.
In times of disaster and crisis, glimpses of the human spirit shine through and warm your heart.
Y'all... I cannot. I'm dying. With no water service, my sister just used their crawfish pot to melt snow and warm up the water in order to give the kids a bath tonight.

@hansvestberg @VZWSupport @Verizon 1/ I'm returning my iPhone 12 Pro due to VZ policy hell. I use dual SIM and because of the 60 day lock, I was unable to activate my second line (w/ another carrier). Even Tier 2 management was sympathetic, but was unable to fix this problem.
2/ I was also advised I could pay for the phone in store, in cash (?!!!!), and this would unlock the phone. Not only do I not want to drag around $1K of cash, but local VZ stores are all closed anyhow. So this is a useless alternative.
