They're called "demons." Any so-called "trans-dimensional being" that can phase in and out of our dimensional plane is by Biblical definition either God, a ghost or an angel. (Trans-dimensional is just geekspeak for spiritual.) Now if angels are communicating or interacting with human beings, and they're not doing so at the behest of God, they're fallen angels, otherwise known as demons.
