Not under a bush, so you can order here if you like! secondflightbooks.com/browse…
Hey pals guess what I have a new book coming out in March 2025 & it's about sisters & ballads & grammar as magic & you can pre-order it wherever you get your books probably*
*idk where you get books, if it's from that weird place under a bush maybe pre-orders don't apply
ALT Cover for The River Has Roots on a dark green background. On a pale cover, a squiggly graphic line moving from the top left corner of the book down to the bottom right corner is a portal into a soft, romantic landscape of rivers and hills; bursting out between the squiggle’s curves are bright bold dahlias in warm hues. At the top of the image are the words “The River” and at the bottom are the words “Has Roots”; below those are “New York Times Bestselling author Amal El-Mohtar.”

We've learned, on BRAVE NEW WEIRD's release day, that one of its contributors, Eirik Gumeny, is in desperate need of a lung transplant.
You can learn more, and help if you're able, here:

Eirik Gumeny, the incredibly nice and talented owner of Atomic Carnival, is in desperate need of a lung transplant. He’s currently suffering, and can use some help.
His wife has set up a donation page. Please spread the word!

For pride month, can I ask authors to be loud about their books with bisexual main characters? 👀👀🩷💜💙
I read this a few weeks ago and LOVED it. Lush and dark. Horrific and heroic and a little bit romantic. You should absolutely order it now, and get this gorgeous print! secondflightbooks.com/browse…
It’s a pre-order! And if you’re in the US or Canada, a print giveaway! read.macmillan.com/promo/aso…
This was an intimate reading that felt. like a gift. We've got a few copies left on Sarah and Noley's books, and you should absolutey pick one up!
Loved getting to read with Noley Reid at @2ndFlightBooks in #Lafayette last Friday, and Rosie and I are enjoying porch time with Origami Dogs (and an actual origami dog) on this gorgeous afternoon.
