He was asked about McCarthy’s job security, & he responded with, “It’s above my pay grade.”. @MicahhParsons11 instead chose to focus on Zack Martin, & give the perspective all players have. We play for our brothers, & we respect those who go through the daily grind of what this game demands from them. To be real, if the coach doesn’t build a special relationship with you, you won’t have a special relationship. He just stated the obvious.
