Surround him with Your comforting presence, mend his wounds—body, mind, and spirit—and grant the medical team wisdom and skill as they care for him. Protect his family, Erika and their young children, wrapping them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we also stand against the scourge of political violence that threatens to tear at the fabric of our nation. We reject every act of hatred, division, and harm that seeks to silence voices through fear and aggression. Soften hardened hearts, foster unity across all divides, and inspire leaders and citizens alike to choose words of dialogue over weapons of destruction.
