I have given years of my life to animals the world forgot. Please give me a moment of yours.
I built a sanctuary for hundreds of rescued dogs, cats, donkeys and other animals. It filled almost immediately. Every day brings more suffering, more treatment, more lives depending on us.
My greatest struggle is NOT a lack of compassion. It is that our work rarely reaches beyond the same small circle of extraordinary supporters. They have given again and again—often beyond what they can afford. I have given everything I can, too. We cannot keep asking the same few people to carry hundreds of lives alone.
I believe that if more people saw these animals and understood our work, more would come forward to help.
