Improvements: Full Aluminum enclosure. Keyboard is full mechanical with hot-swappable switches and caps. Greatly improved thermal overhead for max performance without worries.
Awesome custom 10" mini laptop using a Framework Laptop 13 Mainboard by @penk and @2disbetter!
I have been a big fan of PortMaster for securing Windows machines. It runs on Linux as well, but is far too much for what I really wanted. I just wanted a quick way to say which apps can have internet access, and which apps / processes cannot. Thus MattNRouter was born. C++ no dependencies. SUPER lightweight.
Don't know why I need to state this but to me the Dark Tower series ends at book 5. The later books are just childish ego driven selfishness, that merely expose how the needs of the author are wantonly put above the readers.
MattBar has a new module called bandwidth that uses nethogs or an improved version of it called mattnhogs. This allows you to see what processes are sucking down your internet. On a hotspot or some other kind of metered connection this is very useful.
MattBar also has added a module called local LLM, which also you an agent like popup that uses LLMs running on your own hardware.
The thermal management on the Framework 13 Pro mainboard is amazing. It runs so cool under pretty intense workloads. Intel really knocked it out of the park with this one!
Replying to @dhh
@dhh @OmarchyLinux I have always been annoyed with how annoying it is to see the overall empty space on drives, and other things that I wrote my own C++ based zero dependency (only glibc) file explorer called MattExplorer. 780KB. Multi tab. We can fix everything. Even have it added as an option Omarchy defaults.
The MattBook is now running the latest and greatest Framework 13 mainboard, the FW 13 Pro mainboard. It is glorious!

OMARCHY is now LIVE on the "Rådhuspladsen" in central Copenhagen!
Looks amazing and I can't wait to check it out myself tomorrow.
Thank you for doing all the hard work on the videos @Dennis_Rye 🙏
Omarchy week has started in Copenhagen! Thank you @sonderby for collaborating and helping fund this. And thank you @dhh for letting Peter and I do something crazy. @OmarchyLinux
Dear Meta, if I have to solve a captcha every time I try to log into Facebook, I'm not going to bother to log in.

Hey @dhh, check out my UMPC 2-in-one on screen keyboard for Omarchy!
Features:
- Auto detects localization and picks a layout
- Implements virtual pointer for touch devices that don't report as a pointer device (so you can interact with terminals that don't implement wl_touch, like Kitty)
- Gesture toggle via hyprgrass
- Rotation aware
Available on github soon. Still some edges to polish.

The rise of socialism is, at its core, a rejection of the idea of the American Dream itself.
The MattBook now officially champions @OmarchyLinux. Haven't heard about it? Check it out!
Thank you @FUTO_Tech for making a much more sane license for software. I have adopted it for my own offerings.
Hello esteemed brave engineer @SergZh_ and cc'ing @BrendanEich. I was directed to message you here about Brave's android build improving PWA utility. Basically Chrome and Samsung's variant allow PWAs to be installed with a webapk that ensures all notifications and URLs go to the PWA and not a browser tab. Is this something that Brave's Android variant could support? Would be happy to help if needed.
Will EU keep cookie banners on websites or get rid of them? The debate continues but you don't have to wait for the EU's decision. You can get rid of these annoying pop-ups with Brave right now.
Our browser blocks these pop-ups, and the tracking cookies, by default.
🍪❌ With the #DigitalOmnibus, the EU Commission FINALLY wanted to get rid of cookie banners. However, Google and some EU Member States are now standing in the way.

Today we launched the community-requested Brave Origin: an optional, paid version of our browser that offers Brave's leading privacy protections and ad blocker without its extra features.

I use Omarchy almost every day. So when I have to move back to Windows for any stretch of time, I just find how inefficient the whole interface is there. Omarchy really does offer a better solution with Hyprland!
