Real talk. I started PassiveShirtProfits to sell courses. I never dreamed I would be able to make a living from my art and it鈥檚 happening. It wasn鈥檛 the goal. Feeling so encouraged and blessed. Never give up! Keep designing. Keep uploading! Hard work pays off!
Bruh...my Productor extension is currently possessed! It keeps making the "new sale" sound every 30 seconds, but showing no new sales. LOL
What in the world is going on with Productor lately?? It's spazzing out!馃槀L L . .
Fingers crossed these won鈥檛 get returned. 馃憰馃挵馃 #AMOD
馃 While these new T-shirt mockups on Amazon can be good, it looks ridiculous when you see a grown man wearing a kid鈥檚 design. 馃檮
C鈥檓on, Amazon. Let us choose the mockups!
Me: Amazing ACOS!
One day later....
Also me: Oh gawwwd...AWFUL ACOS!
Gotta ride with the ups and downs of being an online seller. It's not for the weak, I tell ya! 馃槤
鉂わ笍 I love POD hoodie season. Don't be afraid to raise those prices! #LovingTheMargins
Finally got a shirt to earn the "100+ bought in the last month" label on Amazon.
The downside?
All the P4P takedowns because of the thieves!
Looks like RedBubble is reviewing accounts for tier upgrades.
One of my niche accounts just got upgraded to Premium. (160 sales)
Oh the mixed emotions evoked when you get a bulk shirt order...
On one hand, you're happy. On the other hand, you hope it doesn't get returned.
Amazon customers just love to rent shirts. 馃槴 Fingers crossed!
Me outside looking for the #planetaryalignment

If you are running ads, you should be taking a look at your top Search Terms weekly and/or monthly.
Such a gold mine of info for new niche and keyword ideas, especially long tail keywords.
I don鈥檛 think I鈥檝e witnessed anyone explain the impact AI will have on content creation and consumption better than this.
Well done, sir. Well done. 馃憦馃徑馃憦馃徑
The craft of content creation evolved dramatically from YouTubing to TikToking. But hold on tight鈥擥enerative AI is about to make that colossal shift seem like a mere footnote in history, and revolutionize the way we create and consume content...
Then: "YouTubing" was a beast鈥攃reators had to market research, wrestle with cameras, lights, audio gear, mix, edit, add graphics, motion, design thumbnails, and more. It was the 1% game in its rawest form. Master the skills, and the world was yours.
Now: "TikToking" is a breeze. Short-form video apps like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts democratized video creation. Trends and memes banished the blank canvas curse. Creators can capture, edit, and post within the same app on one device. Smartphones became magic wands, granting anyone the power to shape culture and go viral.
Impact: The sheer volume and velocity of content has skyrocketed. Trends that once lasted months (remember the ice bucket challenge?) now explode to ubiquity and then vanish within a week.
Enter Generative AI: Groundbreaking creative tools like Stable Diffusion and Midjourney are revolutionizing visual creation, while Descript and Runway are tearing down barriers in video production. Even tech behemoths like Google, Microsoft, and Adobe are hopping on board.
Impact: Creative barriers? Demolished. Anyone can flip their mind inside out and express themselves in any medium鈥攚itty words, melodic music, mesmerizing movies, or immersive games.
Boundaries between creative roles will blur. Writers morph into artists, artists evolve into animators, animators ascend to directors, and directors? They'll rule the world. The 1% game is now anyone's game鈥攁ll you need is a vision, persistence, and a flair for crafting compelling content in harmony with humanity's collective knowledge and creativity. It's the co-pilot era.
But beware: This content creation free-for-all has a dark side. Creators are at risk of being trapped on a soul-crushing treadmill, racing to keep up with the relentless pace and ever-growing volume of content.
Welcome to the era of "everything, everywhere, all at once." Cutting through the noise is paramount.
Creators must tread carefully, striking a delicate balance between unleashing their creativity and ensuring a fulfilling self-expression, all while catering to increasingly diverse consumption preferences.
Simultaneously, consumption platforms and their curation algorithms mustn't jeopardize the well-being of viewers and players for massive monetization opportunities. This is crucial, because social good doesn't always align with financial incentives.
Embrace the power of Generative AI in content creation, but tread carefully. As we stand on the cusp of this new era, let's take a deep breath, wield our tools responsibly, and craft a future that elevates the human experience and enriches the cultural landscape for all. The future of creative expression hangs in the balance.
馃 A new donut shop owner would never ask another shop owner to estimate their sales in X months.
So why do many newbies think people can estimate earnings for ONLINE businesses like KDP or POD?
The variability in offline business seems more understood than online.
Why? 馃
If you always wait for someone to GIVE you a niche to target, you are cheating yourself out of a critical exercise that will help you earn in the long run.
Testing and trying out new ideas is the best way to learn.
Creativity is everything!
I've mentored a lot of people over the years, and find myself wishing they'd shift the focus to finding opportunities that involve work they truly enjoy instead of choosing based on someone else's success or hype.
It's often obvious when the fit is not there.
Find YOUR thing.
All POD sales are great, but my favorite sales are the first-time sales in unique, cross-niched spaces where you are FIRST.
Get comfortable trying new ideas, especially if you have many slots.
That's how you build confidence and discover how niched down you can really go!
Happy Friday!! Looking forward to trying a new coffee shop and gonna work on some new designs! For some reason I鈥檓 super productive when I work in cafes and coffee shops. 馃榾
Want to test increasing your shirt prices for better margins?
I say start with your unique, detailed designs in very passionate niches with less competition.
I've found people are willing to spend more on something unique that speaks to their passion.
I remember being a bit disappointed last year when a bunch of unique black history designs I created for 2022 never sold.
Now, many of them are selling this year (organically).
Sometimes you have to be patient and let the algorithm do its thing.
