Rest in peace my brother's will cherish the memories forever💔
The families of four men who were tragically killed in a collision in Huyton on Friday 24 July have issued tributes. The men sadly died at the scene after a black Cupra Formentor left the road and collided with a lamppost on Liverpool Road. Today (Sunday 26 July), the families of Jack Diggle, 23, Benjamin Dooley, 23, Andrew Roberts, 24, and Craig Shackleton-Brady, 26, have all issued tributes. In the attached image you can see Jack (bottom right), Benjamin (bottom left), Andrew (top left) and Craig (top right). In alphabetical order based on surname, you can read the family tributes in full below. Jack Diggle: Jack was kind, quiet, thoughtful, and loving. He adored his family, and we loved him with all our hearts. Jack was blessed with a wonderful group of friends, many of whom had been by his side for most of his life. He loved playing football with them and was a proud Everton supporter. He also had a passion for darts, whether he was watching it or playing himself. In fact, he was due to travel to Blackpool today with his friends to watch the darts, something he had been looking forward to. Jack and I went out for a meal together on Thursday. It was such a lovely time, just mother and son, enjoying each other's company. Little did I know that it would be the last time we would spend together. The loss of Jack has left a hole in our lives and in our hearts that can never be filled. We will carry him with us every day and miss him for the rest of our lives. Our Jack, our gentle giant, we love you beyond words and will love you forever. Rest peacefully, son. Benjamin Dooley: Ben’s mum Kerry said: My son, my world, my best friend. It was me and you always. My life is ripped apart and I don’t know how I will do life without you. We did everything together. I’m waiting for you to walk through the door and say “you ok mum” you was the kindest person I knew with a heart of gold. Do anything for anyone.. Loved by everyone who met you. I can’t describe how much I will miss you, it hurts so much. Fly high my baby boy. I love you. Ben’s sister Demi said: Ben my little brother my one and only sibling, the one who always gave me advice and looked out for me, my heart is broken. Feels like a terrible dream, I miss you so much already, the laughs we had and all the memories I will cherish for ever. love you my brother till we meet again. Andrew Roberts: We are at a complete loss for words at this heartbreaking news, our beautiful Andrew. Your heart is full of kindness and that’s why so many people love you. Our worlds are shattered, and we just keep waiting for you to come through the door saying this is all a dream, but it’s never going to come. Life can change in an instant, and Andrew’s passing is a painful reminder of how precious every moment really is. Although his time with us was short the memories he left us will last us all a lifetime. We love you so much our Andrew/ Pip as many knew him. See you soon our boy watches over us forever xxx Andrew’s mum Linda said: My beautiful blue-eyed boy, I can’t believe I’m having to even write this. My sweetheart boy could never do no wrong, my life will never be the same with you not here. My heart will forever be broken. I love you son, from mum xxx Andrew’s brothers Carl and Thomas said: Pip, our baby bro. Even though you were our younger brother we always looked up to you. You will always be the glue to our crazy family. We Love you lil bro. Andrew’s sister Chloe and nephews Lewis and Lucas said: Andooooo, my big brother and the best uncle to my boys. My heart is in pieces. Your Lewy adores you more than life itself and you are the best role model to him. You will forever be his favourite uncle, his best friend, and his whole world. What are we going to do without you in our life? We love you forever and always xxx” Andrew’s partner Kiera said: “My Andrew, my best friend. I never imagined I would ever have to live without you. I am so lost now. You were my whole life, and I don’t know how I’m going to cope without you, but I promise I’m going to try stay strong for you and keep you proud of me like you always were. Please know I always love you Andrew xxx Andrew’s cousin Alfie said: My best mate, my brother. I can’t even write what I’m feeling I’m going to be so lost without you. Me and our nan love you, keep a spot close to your bro love you Andrew’s cousin George said: Pip man what do I say? Should never be me burying you, what I would give for the roles to be reversed lad. My little man, lost without you. Love you more than words could even describe. Rest easy my brother I’ll be with you before you know it. Andrew’s dad, also called Andrew, said:  I am heartbroken. You were the world to me son and the best son anyone could ask for.  I can’t imagine life without you.  Loved beyond words and never to be forgotten.  Craig Shackleton-Brady: Craig was a truly well-mannered family man whose love, loyalty, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. Craig was a devoted and loving father to his two children, who were always at the centre of his world. His pride in being a dad shone through in everything he did, and the love he gave his family will continue to live on in their hearts forever. He was also a dedicated brother, always looking out for his sibling and offering support whenever it was needed. To his brother, Craig was more than family — he was an inspiration, someone to admire and look up to, whose strength, character, and kindness set an example every day. Anyone who knew Craig will remember his infectious laugh. It had a way of lighting up a room, bringing smiles to those around him and making even ordinary moments feel special. His warmth and sense of humour created memories that friends and family will cherish forever. Craig had a passion for life and for the things he loved. He was a proud Liverpool supporter, following his team with unwavering loyalty and enthusiasm. He enjoyed the excitement of the darts and had a keen interest in cage fighting, embracing the passion and energy that these sports brought. Above all, Craig will be remembered for his kind heart, his devotion to his family, and the joy he brought to others. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on through the love he shared, the memories he created, and the countless lives he touched.
