This is where everything in fandom went wrong, tbh. It's crazy how people decided that projecting their morality onto fictional characters was a necessity in order to justify their enjoyment of a character/story. They must be GOOD. They must be MORALLY SUPERIOR. It's insufferable
These people only see Palestinians as a weapon they can use in their dumb fandom wars, they don't consider them actual humans because if they did they wouldn't disrespect their suffering by comparing it to a fucking fictional ship, disgusting behavior
Why do I always see the dumbest Azula takes from Azula fans? One would think her haters would mischaracterize her the most but it's her fans. How are you an Azula fan and can't handle her personality without making her pookie meow poor lil princess abused by her friends and bro?
Funny because mostly people who pretend to be feminists for liking a fictional female character (often written by men, mind you) doing this

Ppl in fandom spaces think disliking a character means you don’t understand them and it always makes for the silliest conversations
Atla fans from Colonizerland Europe with the most racist history imagineable will look you in the eye and try to lecture you about colonialism and racism because they watched a fuck ass cartoon from two white men and now they have the white savior complex on twt, insane
All that ass kissing and boot licking for a random ass twitter user is hilarious but don't talk about weaponizing genocide when kataangs use Palestine as a gotcha for their dumbass ship every week, I had you idiots asking Palestinians if they would marry zionists in my mentions

"umm do you even care about Palestinian genocide if you ship zutara" "how are you a Palestinian and ship zutara" you dumbfucks parrot this 24/7. It's insane, go get yourself a real problem.
With dash of antisemitism, too, all for a boiled chicken breast of a ship
This is true but unfortunately majority of people, instead of focusing on actual bigotry, trying to come up with moral justification for every ship they dislike because they care about fictional characters more than actual people, and it's sad.
This is how I feel about all of those ships tbh. Like Katara and Aang or (Zuko and Mai) getting together in last second to pull a "nice hero saves the day and gets the girl" was so lame and it'd be lame for ZK, too. Those relationships need marinating and developing and growing.
Instead of just retconning her as an anti imperialist to make her the perfect candidate for future Fire Lady. Same for Katara and Aang imo post atla should have had them travel together develop their relationship more and then get them together. And ZK would be so rushed, too
197 dumbfucks telling each other exactly type of post lmao those losers love pretending like zutaranti was an upstanding citizen until suddenly revealing herself as a racist, and not a fandom attack dog with 1k kataangs worshipping her stinky ass
everyone in the comments making silly ass excuses like umm they are friends and umm screentime and umm ZK shippers are annoying. I thought the problem was colonialism which completely should apply to Sokka as well but I guess you all don't respect his trauma, interesting
Also when it comes to Zukka you all ignore what FN did to Sokka, like only Katara is traumatized and hurt by them? Sokka have also lots of trauma from FN but since he's "funny" and talks less about it you all don't count him or just ignore his trauma to ship them to fight ZK
