A despicable ad from Vivek Ramaswamy who is a despicable person. Desperate Republicans have run some horrible, dishonest ads to distract from their failures in office, but maybe none worse than this one.

I’ll stipulate that Trump is an agent of Putin.
Go down the checklist.
1. Destroyed the Western alliance? Putin wanted that.
2. Threatened a NATO ally over Greenland? Putin wanted that.
3. Pulled out of the intermediate nuclear pact? Putin wanted that.
4. Withdrawing 25-40,000 troops from Western Europe while Russian bellicosity is rising? Putin wanted that.
5. Russian satellites giving coordinates to Iranians killing our soldiers, and his response is “they kill us, we kill them”? What American president says that?
I think he’s been compromised.
The election of Donald Trump may be the greatest foreign policy success in post-Czarist Russian history.

Four brothers went to war against Hitler. Three died. The fourth survived, and his grandson, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is the president of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy comes from a family that fought tyrants: Trump negotiates with them while demanding concessions from their victims.

Trump's remarks were made the same day Russia conducted a drone strike killing six civilians including children in a Kharkiv region park, plus missile and energy infrastructure attacks leaving hundreds of thousands without power.

The American president thinks this is "fine"
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

This is MAGA’s Acton incident version of “he didn’t rape her, only sexual assault”.
Rape apologists, pedos, and generally the bottom of the human race barrel; that’s MAGA.

There is no cap on their arrogance. Not even a legal one. I am starting to think that Donald actually hates Americans, otherwise you would say, sorry we did not know there was a law against this, we will not proceed. Nope, they are going to still try and shove this down your throats with a F your laws.

The origin story is the best part. In the 1860s Spencer Clark, who ran the currency bureau, quietly put his own face on the five-cent note.
Congress was not amused, and in April 1866 banned living people from US notes and bonds. One man's vanity, 160 years of law.

A retired lawyer saw a news story about Trump putting himself on a US coin. “This can’t be legal,” he thought.
So he looked up the law.
In 1866, Congress passed a federal statute banning the portraits of living individuals from appearing on U.S. currency. The law was created after a Treasury official put his own face on money during the Civil War.
The Trump administration recently approved a 24-karat gold coin featuring the president's face — intended for America's 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026. The U.S. Mint was prepared to begin production immediately.
So James Rickher — a retired federal employee and lawyer — spent a weekend writing a legal brief. On March 24, he filed a federal lawsuit to stop it.
"It's not just 'Hey, I don't like this,'" Rickher told reporters. "It's against the law."
The Trump administration argues that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has the authority to approve coin designs and that commemorative coins follow different rules than regular currency.
Rickher disagrees. He says the Secretary's discretion doesn't override the statute.
Here's what makes this more interesting — the bipartisan Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee, which normally reviews all new coin designs, declined to review this one. They raised concerns that putting a sitting president on currency could break with democratic norms.
The ONLY time a living president appeared on a U.S. coin was Calvin Coolidge in 1926. That coin was “congressionally authorized” and remains controversial to this day.
A federal judge will now decide. If no injunction is issued, minting begins.
Thank you to James for doing his part

Fox: What is the best single line of attack you’ve found for your campaign?
Paxton: We’re going to send out Trans flyers to our voters to rile up our base
This is pure cope.
No Republican would spend money secretly promoting a flyer for the “Texas trans tour” that this group is already promoting on their social media.
Your side really is this evil. Just own it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Paxton did not say this in the clip. In the actual audio, he says: "The trans issue is huge. The boys and girls sports is huge," when asked which campaign messaging tested best — he never mentions sending flyers or "riling up" the base. x.com/i/status/21124…

New Talarico ad running statewide:
"Ken Paxton says, I don't have his experience, and he's right.
"I've never been indicted for fraud. I've never been reported to the FBI for bribery. I've never been impeached by my own party, and I've never given a sweetheart deal to a pedophile.
"I have a different kind of experience. I've worked with both parties to cap the cost of insulin and pass the largest property tax cut in Texas history. I'm James Tallarico and I approve this message because we need a different kind of experience in Washington."

Trump first. 🤦♂️

I am a lifelong Texas Democrat who just voted for Ken Paxton. My whole extended family is doing the same and canceling your vote
Done. I voted to end the maga corruption that has put the GOP in a choke hold for the last ten years. Party loyalty is a lie boomers tell you so they can continue being trash politicians that represent Trump over the will of the people.
It’s time for maga to end and be replaced by a better form of fiscal conservatism that’s actually American first.
I voted for conservative judges, Democrat reps, and libertarians. I voted for @VikkiGoodwinTX over @DanPatrick especially and @jamestalarico over @KenPaxtonTX because of the hemp issue. You chose to ban my business. I choose to vote for your opponents.
The same old same old dies today. Republicans have had control and all we’ve gotten is worse than under Biden. I’m fine with this crap.
