Baron Von Raschke shows up, nearly 86 years old, claws a couple shmucks, and goes to the pay window one more time all without ever getting in the ring. You can tell his mind still has a thousand ideas for things his body just can't make happen.

Awesome story from Dexter Fowler, who reveals that manager Joe Maddon canceled practice on Halloween and told his players to go spend time with their families and take their kids trick-or-treating even though they were trailing in the World Series.
Hitting that reset button worked: the Cubs traveled to Cleveland a day later, and they steamrolled from there, breaking one of the oldest curses in baseball and hoisting the 2016 Commissioner’s Trophy as world champions of baseball.
Not enough people talk about Dexter Fowler
• 2016 World Champion with Chicago NL
• 2010 MLB triples leader, 2016 All-Star
• Batted .319/.390/.582 (.972 OPS) with 91 RBI in 91 AB with the bases loaded
• Although primarily a leadoff hitter, batted .340/.444/.500 (.944 OPS) in 45 starts (197 PA) in the cleanup spot
• Batted .392/.436/.490 (.927 OPS) against future HOF'er Clayton Kershaw across 55 plate appearances, the most PAs against any one pitcher
• Hit .389 (1.000 OPS) in Wild Card games
• 29 for 67 (.433 BA) when bunting for a hit
• One of just four center fielders in the Divisional Era (since 1969) with at least 80 triples, 140 stolen bases, and a 100 OPS+ (Brett Butler, Steve Finley, Kenny Lofton)
