“This is why a million ranchers and farmers have gone out of business… ” “The three largest meat processors in the United States have all paid multi-million dollar fines within the last year.” “But they’ve been allowed to… keep their cartel-like behaviors going.” “The Department of Justice has been giving them essentially a free pass.” Dr. Meryl Nass just revealed that Washington already has the tools to “break up monopolies and not let them control markets.” “Antitrust laws.” “There have been cases initiated and the companies have paid fines.” “They paid fines for price-fixing.” “They agreed with each other how to raise prices to grocery stores, to lower prices to farmers that they’re paying farmers for their cattle.” These “cartel-like behaviors” are why beef prices are out of control and why dozens of farmers are going out of business every day. And right now, the DOJ is on the verge of sweeping yet another alleged price-fixing scheme under the rug. We’re rallying farmers and consumers to stop the DOJ’s proposed settlement with three major egg companies over a price-fixing conspiracy that robbed consumers of billions of dollars between 2022 and 2025. You have until October 17 to make your voice heard and demand real consequences. Take action below:🧵 @nass_meryl @ChildrensHD

And POTUS says beef is too expensive, so he killed the cattle market.
An acre of ground, a 1,000 pound steer, a car, and a house all cost the same in gold in 2026 as they did in 1980. The dollar is the thing that changed. In 1980 the average US house ran 76,000 dollars, or 124 ounces of gold. In 2026 that same house runs 502,000 dollars, or 121 ounces of gold. The average new car cost 7,500 dollars in 1980, or 12 ounces of gold. Today it costs 50,000 dollars, and still 12 ounces of gold. A 1,000 pound steer took almost 1 ounce of gold in 1980. Today it takes 0.58 of an ounce. Farmland ran 740 dollars an acre in 1980, or 1.2 ounces of gold. In 2026 that acre runs about 4,500 dollars, or 1.1 ounces of gold. Every one of those four prices climbed in dollars. In gold, all four held flat. Rational Ranchers ran those four decades of market and USDA numbers side by side, and the pattern holds in every line. I hold ground, cows, and hay. Four decades of those charts say that is where the value stayed whole, so that is where I keep mine. Your rancher, Jason Hanley | 208-714-0478

So Talarico is a liar. Shocking. (It's not)
🚨 BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Ohio mental hospital CONFIRMS James Talarico was discharged from the facility earlier this week The “flu” thing was a BIG FAT LIE Following reporting by @SaraGonzalesTX and @CarolineWren, a hospital employee told @RheinAmacher and I that Talarico had in fact been a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope near Cincinnati, Ohio, which specializes in around-the-clock mental health treatment. While I sympathize with those dealing with mental health crises, this man is CLEARLY not suited to become a US Senator representing over 30 MILLION TEXANS. The job doesn’t get easier after being elected — it only gets MORE stressful. And Talarico clearly can’t handle it. I pray he gets the help he needs, but Texans need a real representative they can rely on.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Lindner Healing Center has refuted this They have made a statement that James Talarico has never received treatment at Lindner Healing Center x.com/lindnerctrhope…

The government set aside 100,000 metric tons of lean beef trimmings a month, for three months, tariff-free, to bring down the price of beef. September closed the first tranche at 37,486 metric tons. That is 37.49 percent, and it left 62,514 tons unclaimed. Customs and Border Protection prints the number every week. The tranche went 15,370, then 22,156, then 31,129, then 37,486. It never caught up. October opened at 2,181 metric tons five days in. That is 2.18 percent of the new 100,000-ton window. The third tranche starts Oct 31. James Mitchell at the University of Arkansas went further. Of September's 37,486 tons, his two methods estimate only 8,054 to 21,936 were beef that would not have come anyway. Between 8,054 and 21,936 tons. Against a promise of 100,000. Rep. Gabe Vasquez filed H.R. 10509, the BEEF Act, on Sept 17 to suspend the proclamation behind the quota.

The proxy war we inherited from the Biden administration is working against vital U.S. interests, yet we continue to perpetuate it. The flow of oil, LNG & diesel are vital interests—managing who controls the Donbas is not. Cut off all assistance to Ukraine—including intelligence sharing. Un-sanction Russian energy. End this foolish proxy war & put American interests first.
.@POTUS: We told Zelensky, 'You can do whatever you want to Russia, but don't hit the refineries because that's a world problem.' And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel. He better damn well stop.

Zelensky is attempting to sabotage Trump in the midterms now Cut him off from all intel sharing and funding immediately
BREAKING: Ukraine has just struck the NZNP Rostovsky oil products export terminal in Rostov-on-Don and set it ablaze, hours after the US-Russia diesel deal and Trump lifting sanctions on Russian fuel exports. This is a products export terminal, exactly where the diesel would leave Russia under the deal. Ukrainian military sources said earlier today that the Trump administration's attempt to use Russian diesel to lower US prices before the midterms "will bear no fruit."

> 2 brothers inherited 568 acres from Dad > Neither farms. Dad retired 8 years ago > No strings attached to the inheritance > But both brothers agreed: "Dad would've wanted to help out a young farmer" > So they're selling the land to the 28-year-old son of the farmer currently farming it. Here are the terms: → 75% of appraised value → $0 down payment → Minimum interest rate allowed by IRS → 30-year amortization → 15 annual payments → Balloon payment at year 15 > They could've sold to the highest bidder > Instead, they're giving a young farmer a chance > Not every landowner is interested in squeezing the last dollar out of every acre.

There is a profound difference between the state carrying out a death sentence & the state broadcasting a killing for mass consumption. Livestreaming an execution does not make justice more transparent. It turns punishment into spectacle & state violence into content. That is grotesque. apnews.com/article/fort-hood… – at Weatherford, TX

New York Democrats have declared WAR ON THE AMISH. Thanks to their unconstitutional attack on religion, they're now able to fine EACH unvaccinated Amish child $2,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY. ⠀ The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each. ⠀ Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance. ⠀ Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23. ⠀ Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10. ⠀ Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine. ⠀ Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill. ⠀ Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money. ⠀ They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County. ⠀ Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force. ⠀ A parent may not excuse a child for faith. ⠀ Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage. ⠀ Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state. ⠀ The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026. ⠀ A Supreme Court petition was due around September 28. Make sure EVERYONE sees this. If WE don't stand up for these incredible men and women - WHO WILL?!?!?! ⠀ Where is the “my body my choice crowd now”?

I believe the most important political question surrounding Trump 2.0 is who actually has his ear now. His base wanted an end to foreign wars, government corruption exposed, spending cut, the border secured and America put first. Instead, Washington keeps bleeding money overseas, Israel receives virtually unquestioned support, Iran becomes another battlefield, the debt keeps exploding and @RealDonaldTrump tells critics he does not need them. That is not the movement millions of Americans voted for, and pretending otherwise is political gaslighting.

“…with a faith born not of words but of deeds.” Those words from the FFA Creed represent the Future Farmers of America organization that changed my life and the lives of generations of young Americans. There is no American future without American farmers. My FFA used to be the very foundation for that future. But this is NOT that same FFA. These misguided actions do not reflect that legacy. They are wrong, deeply troubling, and demand answers. I’m looking into it. Stand by. @NationalFFA

A fifth-generation family farm is being threatened by infrastructure for data centers. “My great-great-grandparents purchased this property November 5th, 1910, for $722.05.” “We’ve maintained the farm now for the last 116 years.” Now a proposed transmission line could run through the property as Virginia expands its electrical infrastructure to support data center growth. “When you’re dealing with individuals or corporations or entities that don’t hold anything sacred, my family history and property doesn’t really matter to them.” And his farm is far from alone. “Every year there seems to be another community fighting it, and for every community that fights it and wins, there’s 3 or 4 or 5 communities who lose.” Across rural America, farmers are being asked to give up farmland and resources to make way for massive data center expansion—putting their livelihoods at risk. Development shouldn’t come at the expense of the people and land responsible for producing our food. @FarmAid

"There's nothing the corporate cattle establishment hates more than independence." That's Jim Mundorf of Lonesome Lands, who started the outlet almost nine years ago because independent producers had no media that answered to them instead of a corporate ad budget. He points at the groups that put the word in their own names. Independent Cattlemen of Missouri. Independent Beef Association of North Dakota. Oklahoma Independent Stock Growers Association. Why does that word have to be there? Because the corporate agriculture system wants producers dependent on it. "A country that was created by a declaration of independence" now has organizations pushing back on any independent thought or work. When independent producers stood behind President Trump in the Oval Office while he talked packer concentration, country of origin labeling, and the Packers and Stockyards Act, the word that followed them out was "influencers." Mundorf's read on that word: it is a way to reduce their significance. @LonesomeLands @jimmundorf

If republicans really wanted to win they would have prosecuted the Epstein class, ended or never started the war in Iran, refused funding from AIPAC, kept gas prices low, ended the war in Ukraine, withdrawn from NATO, not tried to bribe Americans with $5K in socialist checks, not alienated revered leaders like MTG and Massie, not ended investigations into Kirk assassination or Butler attempt on the President, not appointed and then refused to fire Kash Patel, not kept 90 percent of the same people in intelligence that were there during the Biden administration, ended insider trading, brought justice to Fauci and the vaccine class, held China accountable for covid instead of inviting half a million of their spies to study at our universities, ended h1b visas, reduced inflation, passed a balanced budget instead of record spending, drained the swap, eradicated the deep state, or deported more illegals than Obama. But they didn’t do any of those things. Anyone who blames me or other conservative voters for republicans losing the midterms can f*ck all the way off.
