Data on 35,000+ adults: the more cannabis you’ve used in life, the bigger your hippocampus and the better your brain works after 40!
People who had ever used cannabis tended to have larger brain volume in key areas that are full of natural cannabis-like receptors (especially the hippocampus, amygdala, caudate, and putamen – these areas are important for memory, emotions, learning, and movement).
The more cannabis someone had used in their lifetime, the larger these brain areas were and the better they performed on tests of learning, processing speed, and short-term memory.

NEW: Joe Rogan and Dan Richards go deep on the Grand Canyon cave that a 1909 newspaper said held an underground city, and that you still cannot walk into:
ROGAN: “Right now you can’t go into the area. It’s ‘too dangerous,’ or it’s a Native American sacred site, depending on who you ask.”
“Get a tribal archaeology team, get some drones, and close the door on it.”
“If they really found a cavern for 50,000 people, with Egyptian hieroglyphs and mummies, do you think they would hide that?”
CONTEXT: The Arizona Gazette ran the story in April 1909. Explorer G.E. Kinkaid claimed a nearly inaccessible cave with hundreds of rooms, mummies, copper tools, and “oriental” or Egyptian-style artifacts. It named a Smithsonian-backed “Professor S.A. Jordan.”
No cave, notes, accession records, or Smithsonian expedition matching that claim have ever turned up. The Smithsonian has said it has no file on the discovery. Parts of the canyon are closed for safety, tribal land, or resource protection. That is not evidence of a buried Egyptian city.
The real question is narrower. Why not fly a drone over the spot the newspaper named and end it.

A small selection of just some of the recent high-profile incidents to illustrate that SoCal/San Gabriel Valley is the financial engine of the joint CCP-cartel fentanyl epidemic
📍 Arcadia: CCP mayor
📍 Temple City: Chinese drug money laundering
📍 Irvine: Chinese money laundering/Sinaloa Cartel
📍 Bell Gardens & Downey: Chinese drug money laundering
📍 Rowland Heights & Diamond Bar: two CA safe houses used by key cartel money launderer Zhi Dong Zhang (Sinaloa + CJNG)
The vast number of Chinese students in the US are part of the machinery: a large (270k) ready-made money mule network to break down transactions to smaller amounts, with some of the drug proceeds even laundered into US tuition
California real estate is another key avenue (CA is the most favored destination for Chinese buyers, 70% of whom pay all cash)
Wanying Zhang's background (USC student turned realtor) notably involved both of these avenues

I’ll let you in on a secret that isn’t being discussed much. I work in senior management for strategy and analytics and I can say with 100% certainty that every remote middle tier analyst job from 90k-115k is like this. Regardless of industry.
If you want a lazy job (max 30 hours/week), just query LinkedIn, Indeed or Google jobs for healthcare analytics, sales support analytics, logistics analytics and filter by salary/experience and location.
These jobs aren’t analytics engineering, business intelligence or operational heavy. They’re basic back office functions that are 100% necessary because executive boomers lack the sufficient technical skills to be Excel or PowerPoint savvy. So they’ll hire people at this rate to do the work for them. If you understand spreadsheets, basic statistical concepts and elementary business concepts, you’ll do fine.
Some weeks these jobs are busy but most weeks you’d be doing ad hoc reporting. If your boss (low level executive or senior manager) doesn’t delegate much, you could pick up a second job. If you’re good with low code platforms and AI, most of the work at these jobs could be completed in 10-15 hours.
I could probably find 50 of these jobs within 30 minutes on LinkedIn. Hundreds of these are getting posted every day because companies are ditching visa workers and cancelling contracts with outsourced firms in India and abroad.
Just search for the jobs, find one you want, use Claude or ChatGPT to tailor your resume and apply. Then, most importantly, reach out to a recruiter on LinkedIn from the company and state your interest and experience (even if you embellish).
It’ll work, trust me

Red Bloody Afghan original smells like rotten meat
The leaf goes almost black red under full sun on bare rock. Anthocyanin locked through the fan and into the sugar leaf, not just a cold-night blush. Structure stays upright and resinous while everything around it is dry grass and stone.
This is the expression you get when the pigment is fixed in the genetic line instead of being a stress response. Same plants can run dark year around with out high uv exposure or cold nights.
Where have you actually seen a landrace hold this level of red/black-purple ?
These large cakes come out of the Pakistani/Afghan highlands, where the resin is made by hand and left to cure. The break is how you tell the grade: soft centers still give under the edge, dry outer layers snap clean and leave the fine dust on the cloth. Same motion from the Parvati side to the Afghan passes — one tool, silk sheets, density decides.
Have you ever wanted to visit Afghanistan/Pakistan ? Watch a multi-kilo cake get chopped like this with an axe 🪓

Mark Cuban once had $84,000 in the bank. His receptionist whited out the names on the vendor checks, wrote in her own, and cashed $82,000 of it
Years later he became a billionaire, and he still says there's no way around it: you have to be extremely lucky
What he could control is the part almost nobody copies
He told the story on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe. His dad upholstered car seats and never made more than $40,000 a year. In college Cuban bought a book called How to Retire by 35. The idea was simple: live like a student and save everything
So he did. When he moved to Dallas, he slept on the floor of a three-bedroom apartment with five or six other guys. A night out was one beer and all the fried mushrooms he could eat. He says he was having a blast
His first company, MicroSolutions, nearly died the day the bank called. The receptionist had one job: put the vendor checks in envelopes and take them to the post office. Instead she took $82,000 of the $84,000 they had. They were flat broke. Cuban called every vendor and asked them to work with him. They did. Nobody has found her since
He sold that company at around 30, with a few million dollars. And the one thing he splurged on says everything about how he thinks. Hungover after a night out with friends, he called American Airlines and asked if they sold lifetime passes. They did. $125,000 for almost unlimited flights for him and a companion. He did the math: about 12 cents a mile
Then came Broadcast. He and a friend bought a computer, put it in a second bedroom, and started locking up streaming rights from radio stations and sports leagues. They were, in his words, YouTube before YouTube. It took four years to break even. After going public, they sold to Yahoo, and the payment was all stock
That's where the trade happened
Cuban's first thought was: what if the stock market crashes? So once he legally could, he set up what's called a collar. He sold other people the right to buy his stock at a higher price, and used that money to buy puts that would protect him if the price collapsed
The stock did crater. The puts became worth more than he would have gotten from the shares. It has been called one of the top 10 trades in Wall Street history
He shared the win. Out of 330 employees at Broadcast.com, 300 became millionaires
He's honest about his misses too. He had the money to invest early in Netflix and Google and let someone talk him out of it
His rules now are blunt. On Shark Tank, he expects about 25% of companies to go belly up, roughly 60% to be okay, and 15% to kill it, and those 15% have to pay for everything else. If a company needs hundreds of millions to reach tens of millions in sales, it doesn't work for him
His advice to young athletes is the same discipline. Live like a student, because one broken ankle and it's over. Your money manager can't be your friend, because your friend wants to stay your friend and your money guy needs to make you money. Stay away from restaurants, clothing labels, liquor brands and music labels, because there are no barriers to entry
And with interest rates above 5%, he says he's a really conservative investor. Why take the risk?
Which brings it back to luck
Cuban says he worked hard, was smart, and did things other people were afraid to do. But if he had started five years earlier, before the internet, or if the internet stock market hadn't exploded, he'd just be some guy, and you'd have no idea who he was
Most people study the billionaire's big win
Cuban's story says to study what protected him from losing it
Luck made him a billionaire. Discipline is why he stayed one
