Congratulations to @LanarkASC Evi Mackie and Karen Kelly on a magnificent bronze for GB in the 4x200 freestyle relay with Evi more than playing her part with a sub 2 minute split. Incredible swimming and coaching.

Good Luck to the teams @LarkhallAc @GlengowanPS, St Mary's PS, Hamilton and David Livingstone Memorial PS in the Scottish Schools Swimming Team Championships at Dumfries today @SouthLanCouncil @SLSwimteam @SwimLarkhall
Super proud of these two, Rin was on the interview panel for the new head of social sciences @LarkhallAc today. Whilst Ellie is heading through to @EdinburghUni tomorrow for the final session of the Maths Outreach programme. Doing themselves and @HareleeshillPS proud 🥰
Ellie dropped off for her maths masterclass - When is a knot not a knot? @LarkhallAc @LarkyMaths
Good Luck to Lewis Ryder @LarkhallAc @SwimLarkhall as he heads to East Kilbride to compete in the Scottish Schools today 🏊
Huge thanks @StrathEng for organising and running the Young Weir Wise programme this week. Ellie and her two classmates @LarkhallAc had a great couple of days learning about and applying the different areas of engineering. #eggdrop #spaghettibridge #bouncyballs #prosthetichand
Next week Ellie is off to Strathclyde Uni for a couple of days to take part in an engineering programme, and I have just found out that she has also been nominated to attend a mathematics programme being run by Edinburgh, Napier and Heriot-Watt Universities 😊 @HareleeshillMa1
This has to be my favourite video of the series yet @ScottishSwim @SASANorth From the mouths of babes and all that #volunteersmakeoursport
Our fifth installment in our 12 Days of Volunteering series and we hear from some of our age group swimmers, the ones who bring us all together the ones who are the reason we devote our time and energy to the sport. fb.watch/oTewaGK9y7/

Super proud of the School of Football boys who participated in the launch this week. Showcasing all their great skills, signing contracts and getting to
meet professional footballers. What an incredible event @HareleeshillPS @CoerverGillian1 #itsSLC ⚽️
For all you golfers out there who struggle with golfer tan lines (white feet but tanned legs) 🙈 My 15 year old gave me a eureka moment last night. BB cream (kinda like tinted moisturiser) on your feet = no dodgy streaks from fake tan and no two tone effect when wearing heels ⛳
Celebrating @karenlanark 50 years anniversary @LanarkASC with some special people @swimgal2635 @scottfleminggg @SwimLarkhall @RutherglenASC @ScottishSwim #sls #swimfamily
To even consider using youth sport as a scapegoat to plug gaps in funding is atrocious and beyond contempt. Our children need their sports teams more than ever risking their future existence is despicable #mentalhealth #teamwork #discipline #workethic #resilience #ourkidsmatter
Attended the workshop/ engagement session with consultation tagged on, yet again not advertised. Interesting but not hugely relevant, we were heard, need to see if people were listening. Some really good points from @BlantyreCeltic
Over to you now

All clubs should have a representative at this regardless of your sport, this is actually the “consultation” that SLLC promised before any further decisions are taken about price increases. REMEMBER TO BOOK ON so they don’t try to turn you away.

No mention of consultation. @SLLeisCulture @SportnHealthSL
No mention of listening or understanding. Feel sorry for the SLLC attendees, where were the real decision makers if it was meant to be a consultation? Bottom line, you have given no value to SL Clubs and volunteers.
