St. John Paul II Catholic School students in Grande Prairie want their teacher (Amy Davidson) burned at the stake for not saying Canada committed genocide. Canada has spent between $1-2 trillion on Indigenous people since Confederation. I don't think this is genocide.

Thank you for pulling this all together- a blueprint for carrying out a fundamental change to society without any heed to democracy has been created. Who will use this blueprint next and for what cause?? TRAs take care as you do not know what you have unleashed here.

True. Folks are incredulous when describe procedure of sewing faux penises on girls ... even when the procedures were listed on websites (most now scrubbed). Faux vaginas not disturb as much. Oddly.

Have you read the article? Whittle is in there. And Jamison Green gets all the credit she deserves. But Rothblatt was so pivotal. Read his "standards of care" that I linked in the piece. And there are other links to his talk and a report he wrote at the time too. Depsychopathologization as we know it sprang from his pen.

Trans-identified female Stephen Whittle was the first president during the transition from HBIGDA to WPATH. Her activism began in the 70s and was instrumental in the the changeover to trans rights WPATH. And yet you say Martine Rothblatt is to blame? theguardian.com/society/2007…

It's an incredible story, isn't it. My favourite part is the activists pounding on the door of the HBIGDA conference and the president saying: It's all right; let them in. As I say in the essay, truly no one could have staged a more perfect real-world enactment of what was happening to HBIGDA at the time!

Reconciliation Overreach: Help Me Follow the Money and Find the Truth After backlash for scrutinizing the Kamloops band’s still-unproven 215 unmarked-grave claim, @DreaHumphrey doubles down on band-government transparency, launching an investigation into the reconciliation industry to spotlight the modern suffering Indigenous Canadians face today and seek change. Truth matters. So does accountability. So lets demand it. For five years, I've investigated the claims surrounding potential unmarked graves at Canada's former residential schools. I've never denied the child harms tied to that system. But acknowledging yesterday's wrongs should never require Canadians to stop asking questions or weighing the evidence about claims being made today. I learned that lesson again after Rebel News released our alternative Orange Shirts ahead of Truth and Reconciliation Day. One shirt challenged the still-unproven Kamloops 2021 claim that many believe to be fact: that ground-penetrating radar had located the remains of 215 children, which the band itself later admits was "200 anomalies." My reporting has repeatedly called for the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc band government to follow through on its previously announced plans for further investigation including excavation. Plans that Canadian taxpayers paid the band at least $12.1 million to help do, considering to "dig deeper" as one of the shirts calls for is the only way to provide Canadians, including those families who went to the school, with answers. The response was extraordinary. I was branded a "residential-school denier," falsely accused of mocking dead children and bombarded with hateful messages, including death threats — but I won't be intimidated into silence. We need more accountability, not less. I scrutinize Ottawa and British Columbian politicians who aren't transparent or fail to put Canadians first — why should any band government be exempt? And why aren't journalists spending more time investigating and exposing potential causes behind the very real and disproportionate suffering of Indigenous Canadians today? Did you know that despite taxpayers paying the “Indigenous Priorities and Reconciliation” industry billions of dollars per year — a whopping $33.1 billion in 2024–25 alone — Indigenous Canadians are six times more likely to be murdered than non-Indigenous Canadians. And according to data from 2014 to 2021, 86% of people accused of killing Indigenous women and girls and 85% of those accused of killing men and boys were, themselves, Indigenous. Are the Gladue Principles — which require courts to consider an Indigenous offender's unique circumstances, often contributing to lesser sentences for Indigenous offenders including violent ones — reducing the modern-day harms suffered by Indigenous victims and their loved ones today? Indigenous children are in foster care at more than 14 times the rate of non-Indigenous children. And the disparities don't stop there; 53.7% of children in foster care are Indigenous, despite Indigenous children making up just 7.6% of Canadian children. Another 8.7% of Indigenous children and youth are diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder compared to just 0.5% in the general population. Indigenous Canadians report childhood sexual violence at more than 2.5 times the non-Indigenous rate — 16% versus 6.1%. And Indigenous Canadians are nearly twice as likely to live in low-income households and nearly three times as likely to live in homes in need of major repair as non-Indigenous Canadians. But there are allegations that for many on reserve, their chiefs and councils — managing so much of the reconciliation funding — are not living the same way. Why is that? These harms are not relics of the past; they are happening now. So help me speak up about it. Do you have information the public should know about band government, federal funding, housing, child welfare, leadership spending or an unmarked-grave claim? Have your property or business rights, freedom of movement or access to Crown land been affected by government decisions made in the name of reconciliation? Have you lost a loved one to violence and believe Indigenous-specific sentencing principles or other laws prevented justice from being properly served? Or maybe your community is a success story. Has it overcome serious challenges, built opportunity and found solutions that other Indigenous communities could learn from? I want to hear those stories too. Because accountability isn't anti-reconciliation. And journalistic scrutiny of how billions of dollars and decades of policy are impacting Indigenous Canadians today isn't anti-truth. It's the pursuit of it.

youtube.com/watch?v=o2OUoLWr… "People who transitioned their own children are going to be the ones who will keep this bloody movement going. They have everything to lose and it's a fight to the death as far as they are concerned. There is a lot of people who can't move on this and because that's the people who transitioned their own children. So those people are going to be like the Japanese soldiers who were on Pacific island and didn't know the war is over. They have got to fight forever. This is another reason why this is the worst, worst, worst social contagion that we'll ever have experienced. A lot of people have done the worst thing that you could do which is to harm their own children irrevocably. Because of it, those people would have to believe that they did the right thing for the rest of their lives, for their own sanity and for their own self-respect. So they'll still be fighting. And each one of those people destroys entire organizations and entire friendship groups. I have lost count of the number of times that somebody has said to me of a specific organization that has got turned upside down on this. "Oh, the deputy director has a trans child." Or "The journalist on that paper who does special investigations has a trans child or whatever". The entire organization gets paralyzed by that one person. And it may not even be widely known at the organization that they have a trans child, but it will come out like people will have sort of said it quietly. And now you can't talk truth in front of that person. You know you can't because what you are saying is you as a parent have done a truly, like a human rights abuse of awful thing to your child that cannot be fixed. There are specific individuals who are really active against women's rights here, and it's not known why they are. But I happen to know through the back channels that it's because they have transed their child. And so those people will do anything for the entire rest of their lives to destroy me and people like me because people like me are a standing reproach to them. I don't want to be. I am not talking directly to them. I don't spend my time bitching about them. But the fact is that just simply by saying we will never accept to make males in women's spaces, well, it's their son that we are talking about. And they have told their son that he can get himself sterilized and destroy his sexual function and women will accept him as a woman. And if we don't, there is no way back for them and their child. They have sold their child a bill of goods that they can't deliver on. And I am the one who has to be bullied to try to force me to deliver on this. So those people are going to be the people who will keep this bloody movement going. I am sorry to say because they have everything to lose and it's a fight to the death as far as they are concerned."

This is an insulting, uninformed, and disrespectful take on what’s happening in #bced. Teachers and EAs work hard everyday despite the chronic underfunding, to educate our students. Often at the expense of our own health. Maybe go visit a school Lorne?

I'm hearing from HWDSB parents that land acknowledgements are still being presented as mandatory at school council meetings. Even HWDSB's own bylaw template uses mandatory language in a section NOT marked as required. What else are parents being misled about? Parents have a voice in public education. They need to know their rights to protect it.

And yet Canadian police are fine with gangs of muslims praying outside churches all over the country.
🚨 Prayer mats unrolled in front of a Catholic cathedral. Not in a mosque. Not in a park. On Christian ground — in public, on camera. Then the bells explode. The prayer gets drowned out. Viral clip from Montreal’s Notre-Dame Basilica. Muslims praying on the square. Church bells swallow the sound. Basilica says the bells are automatic — they ring on the hour. Online? People heard a message: this is still a church. Public prayer in front of cathedrals isn’t “dialogue.” It’s a claim on the space. Europe and Canada keep seeing the same play. Would this fly the other way — rosaries on a mosque lawn? #Montreal #NotreDame #ChurchBells #Christianity #Islam #CulturalWarfare #Quebec

Parents are meant to rubber stamp school boards, not question them.
The fact that I was suspended from my son’s school council was public. What I am revealing now is, before the board suspended me, I had already spent months under a confidential human-rights investigation over for objecting to the same thing - the boards lack of legal authority to impose a land acknowledgement at school council meetings. And was cleared... It's a story about what happens when a body meant to help hold the education system accountable to parents was instead used to hold a parent accountable to the education system. 🙃 I was right the whole time. It took two investigations, a suspension, and almost two years before the board acknowledged it. And many thanks to @C2CJournal for working with me to tell this whole absurd story properly. c2cjournal.ca/2026/09/school…
