Ok, so it's been a busy year since my last post. Started the year with an AI-based challenge, which turned into a book project that I'm still working on. Feeling #energicial and therefore (predictably) optimistic!

On my way out of Ukraine: line of trucks 10 miles long. Border delays continue to be a major bottleneck for getting food in—and grain out of—the country. @WCKitchen buys everything we can locally, but we still need to bring in food to meet the need—160 WCK trucks going this week!

4/“Great Replacement Theory” isn’t new, and it’s total BS. It is warmed over from centuries-old tropes like Protocols of the Elders of Zion and recycled through the Turner Diaries etc. We should avoid legitimizing it by treating it as a “theory.” It’s raw xenophobia.

Joe Garcia, the husband of Irma Garcia, one of two teachers shot and killed in Uvalde, TX on Tuesday, has reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack. Joe and Irma were high school sweethearts and married 24 years. They leave behind four children.
Make yourself a priority once in a while. It's not selfish. It's self care.
