This morning's patrol has been focused on the farm side of Sheldon Country Park. We spent the patrol searching through the wooded areas, and we safely disposed of drug paraphernalia into our sharps bin. We also reported several cases of littering and flytipping on FixMyStreet 🙂.

PC Toland and PCSO Carr noted this vehicle smelling of cannabis.
They notified PC’s Lee and Groutage who swiftly located and stopped the vehicle, detaining all occupants for a search.
A small quantity of cannabis was located and seized.

PC Lee and PC Groutage were preparing to call it a day when they located this mini being driven without insurance. The driver had a story to tell but ultimately they had no insurance. Reported and seized!

Further checks showed the driver was wanted. 1 in custody for possession of an offensive weapon

Whilst on a casual walk they saw PC Lee and informed him of a suspicious male running into an address.
PC Lee entered the address to make sure all was in order. Thankfully, it was the occupant who urgently needed the loo!

Here's what will happen:
They will delay any decision until after next year's election
They will deny that they are going to do it and accuse us of spreading "fake news" when we say they are.
If they win the election (hopefully not) they will then announce they are doing it
