Former Ravens DL Marcus Spears PASSIONATELY stands up for Lamar Jackson
“I don’t give a damn if you don’t like how he comes to the building. Your a** wasn’t talking about that when he was out there winning MVPs and putting the team on his back”
NEW: The College Football Playoff committee will now consider a strength-of-conference metric in its selection process, @CFBHeather reports.
The new metric will help determine the strength of each conference based on the schedule strength of each team in its league.

First, I stopped responding to people I don’t respect.
Then, I stopped trying to explain myself to people who benefit from misunderstanding me.
Finally, I stopped giving my attention to people I wouldn’t choose to sit across from at dinner.
Once you remove the noise, there really isn’t much left to respond to… because the people who matter aren’t the ones doing goofy shii.

Jalen Hurts wasn’t perfect yesterday in Tennessee, but when the moment demanded it, he was DANG GOOD.
That final drive by the @Eagles was a thing of beauty, and their Super Bowl MVP quarterback delivered when it mattered most.
I couldn’t wait to break down every throw, play by play. That’s “What Kept Me Up Last Night.” And there was no way I was doing anything else before getting to this one today.

One of the teams that “quit” against Indiana beat a team you picked to beat them today 45-17
The other team that “quit” against Indiana lost to a team that was on a 10 game losing streak
Why don’t you talk about them? Why does nobody? Why does Oregon get a pass? @KirkHerbstreit
NEW: Nick Saban takes a shot at the Big Ten's depth:
"We’ve (SEC) already got nine teams in the top-25. It’s not like the Big Ten where there’s three good teams at the top and then nothing."

I can’t think of a QB in the NFL who is subject to as much goal post moving as Lamar Jackson. (via @FirstTake)
