@HHS_Jim is the Acting CDC director. It’s concerning that he seems not to understand that last year was a severe flu year 280 children died. That is not histrionics. It’s kids who will never graduate school, go to prom, write poetry, get married and have their own babies.
Don’t let media histrionics mislead you: this season’s respiratory illness activity has been comparable to last season’s, even with a 15% increase in holiday travel according to TSA screening data.
The updated @CDCgov childhood immunization schedule adjusted the annual pediatric flu vaccination from a universal recommendation to shared clinical decision-making. That means that pediatric flu vaccination decision should be based on individual patient characteristics as opposed to population-wide factors.
In our scientific review of childhood immunizations, @HHSgov found no randomized controlled trials demonstrating reduction of community transmission, hospitalizations, or mortality in children from the pediatric vaccine. Some randomized controlled trials show reduced flu infection. Like all immunizations on the childhood schedule, the pediatric flu vaccine is covered by insurance for whoever chooses it. We’ve empowered parents and health care providers to choose the best course of action for each child.

I get that you are a neurosurgeon, but you went to medical school.
You know we have NO TREATMENT for the viral illnesses that vaccines protect against.
You KNOW that serious ADR's are in the 1-5/1,000,000 range.
You know that measles has a 0.1% mortality (one dead kid per 1000 cases).
You know that measles can affect the immune system for up to two years.
You know that measles can cause permanent brain damage.
You know the viral meningitis can result in the loss of all four extremities.
You know the viral meningitis can cause brain damage.
You know the viral meningitis can cause death period
You know that tetanus is a fatal disease
You know that rabies is a fatal disease if not immediately vaccinated.
You know that mumps can cause permanent male sterility
You know that several of these viruses reduce the bodies immune system ability to fight off other infections for one-two years.
You know that all these viral illnesses can cause myocarditis in the 13-15% range (13 cases of myocarditis per 100 cases of viral infection) while the vaccine risk is 3/1,000,000.
What do you mean that cutting back vaccinations will not result in dead or seriously ill children?
Obviously it will. We've already had at least two deaths of children from measles. The US used to be "measles free".
You perform a cervical spine surgery with an anterior approach because the data that accumulated, including a paper where I was co-author, demonstrated that it was the safer and better approach. Why are you ignoring the data and reality in discussing vaccines?

New guidelines don’t fix poverty, food prices, time scarcity, mental load, or invisible labor.
More guidelines won’t fix jack squat. Same shit. Different day. No results.

If you only share negative claims about vaccines then that makes you anti-vaccine.
Have you ever watched a baby die from hib?
Pre-vax we used to see 1,000 children under the age of 5 die from Hib. 20,000 infected, 1/3rd suffered lifelong neurological harm. Every year in the USA alone.
If you need data or science proving how vaccines save lives and protect children I can supply that but it seems you don't want to read anything but cherry-picked negative claims.
