Good atmosphere and made it feel like an event! In the first half the away side sped into a two nil lead, and had an amazing chance to make it 3 with a one-on-one for their number 7, but it went wide… and that’s when everything changed. Crawley Down’s own number 7, Callum Kilkenny, who was already the best player on the pitch before this - took over firstly with a 40 yard free kick goal, and then an equaliser moments later. At half time I tried the chicken and mushroom curry and at £8 the portion size was great and hit the spot! Lots of larger choice on two too. Second half started and the inevitable happened, Crawley went 3-2 up, and then later 4-2 up. But Little Common will feel like they really could’ve had this in the bag during the first half. Improvements I’d suggest would basically surround the PA system, which is effectively useless when sitting in the main stand. Oh and get a bigger substitution board it’s tiny 🤣.
