The new Parliamentary Budget Officer, Annette Ryan, released her first fall Economic and Fiscal Outlook report yesterday, and it's nothing but bad news. Carney is out of control when it comes to spending. There's a lot to unpack, but this line is the one that sends chills down my spine. "PBO anticipates that federal borrowing will grow significantly faster than deficits, which are measured on an accrual basis. Over the next five years, cumulative deficits are projected to total $333.3 billion, whereas federal borrowing is projected to rise by $732.9 billion, as the Government borrows to finance loans, capital investments, defence procurement and other financial assets, which add to national debt on a cash basis." Carney is set yo increase our debt by a trillion dollars in just 5 years. He has to borrow 732.9 billion, because he has to build projects that used to be built by the private sector, because he's policies are scaring away investors and developpers.
